"Not bad of little hidden getaway. Just make sure to remember the driving instructions given by host. Also try get there with some day light. So you wont miss the turn in."
"Without a doubt, one of the loveliest "time-capsule" honored facilities ever . . . a traditional, old-world McKenzie River home and it took us both back to our childhood family cabin stays as kids growing up. We both have lived and have seen the history of the area and we were both just thrilled with the post fire recovery, thankfully though, not in that immediate area. This is a must for anyone who wants to relive the pristinely kept bygone era of older architecture and preserved excellence, an ode to fishing, boating and rafting on the McKenzie River. Five stars from us . . . Lesli Degge & Jeffrey Prince"
"Very comfortable. We especially liked the screen porch, listening to the river and surrounded by trees. The hot tub was a nice bonus. Appreciated the AC on the 90 deg days. Courtney was a responsible and communicative host."
"Had a wonderful time just relaxing and watching the water. Place is very clean and well stocked with whatever you may need. it’s a fantastic place to stay and hope to do so again. They do need better WiFi though but other than the stay was GREAT."
"UpRiver Nest" - Cabin on the Mckenzie River in Oregon
8/10 Good
"Clean and cozy cabin next with soothing river sounds when the windows are open. Great location for McKenzie river exploring and activities. The cabin is close to the highway. Later in the day the traffic dissipates. The fire pit location is outstanding. A trail on the property leads to the rivers edge. Fantastic water pressure in the shower. We would stay here again."
"We absolutely loved the screened off patio so we could sit outside and continue enjoying the sounds of the river when the mosquitos would come out in the evening. We spent the majority of our time there or the deck. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We never used the TV but it was small so be aware of that if you want to use it."
