Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, but noisy with events in the Zócalo. Housekeeping was inconsistent (one day they would leave water and soaps while other days they did not)

Great location.. the hotel is a historic building so it needs some upgrades but overall we had a pleasant stay.
I've stayed her a couple of times and staff is always very pleasant and helpful. Property is conveniently in the center of Puebla with a walkable park. I love staying here with my family.
The family room was pretty great for my family and I. The staff was super helpful. It was a great stay. The building itself is old and very nicely kept. What could've made it better was an a/c but we had a fan in the room, it doubles as white noise to sleep 😴 🙂
Nice place, a little old and low ceilings
Is noisy due to location but gets quieter after 1am

Due to the celebration of Dia De Los Muertos the streets were closed/ blocked and access to the hotel and valet was impossible! The traffic was a nightmare! We drove around 3 times, before I ended up walking to ask a police officer, what we could do about our car and get to the hotel. We ended up walking about a block to the hotel and the valet came to pick up our car. I feel that anyone that has a car or is going to use the parking should be notified in advance of the inconvenience during the holidays and you still get charged daily. The middle age man in the lobby during the DAY HAD NO PERSONALITY. The hotel location is perfect for anyone without a car.
The place has no parking & there will be additional fee for it. $120 mx pesos. The rooms are small. Beds with concrete base. No ice on premises. No a/c. Towels and sheets are tearing apart. Good deal on hotels.com but you cannot upgrade snd and if you want to extend your stay you will have to check out ( leave the room with all your belongings) and wait for another room to be assigned. Good things: good location, luggage storage free of charge, elevator and bell service are nice.
The property is less than a half block walk from what most everybody goes there to see, the zocalo and the cathedral. With that half block walk, you get a very nich hotel room at half the cost of other hotels directly in front of the zocalo. Most of the hotels in this area are old hotels. This hotel is not exception. Given that, I enjoy staying in a historic area and a historic hotel. Even though old, it still has been updated with modern day conviences.
Unfortunately the room we had was poorly ventilated. There was a fan that did not help. There was a small window that opened to a closed, roofed courtyard. The ceiling was low in the room and kept the heat close. We slept poorly. The location was excellent If I could be assured of a better room I might stay again. The room definitely needed upgrades, ventilation especially.
