It is a home above ground level, requiring an ascent upstairs to reach its door, necessary for providing the amazing view of the beach.

Inside Las Palmas, warm woods make up a majority of the décor, along with crème colors and strategically placed mosaic tiles. Organic is a good word for the interior, as decorative plants adorn the common room. In the center of the common room is a curved roof with brick styling, making the room feels even larger. There is plenty of seating in the common room, with a mixture of couches, chairs, and bar stools; every guest will have a spot to lounge and enjoy the oceanfront view through the large sliding glass door. This common room is only separated from the beach by a patio, meaning beach adventure are easy to get started.

Lamps adorn the bed's nightstand, offering a cozy spot to settle down with a book. The rooms are an average size, but fully equipped to make your night an ease.

There's a couple patio locations attached to this house. One is near the front door with a stone table that sits atop an area jetting out from the house, providing a view of the surrounding area. The other patio is accessed through the common room and opens up to a great place for an outdoor meal. A blue fence of little columns keeps this balcony to itself, with a white staircase leading the beach below.

Amenities include central heat and AC, a beach shower outside the house, the essentials of glassware, cooking appliances, and linens – everything you need for a functioning house.

    Visit Rocky Point

Consider the revered Las Palmas for your next beach get away. It's a memory maker and knows how to provide a great stay. This sets the bar for Rocky Point vacation rentals.

Great stay

The home was very nice and very close to the beach which was a big plus. All the rooms had huge beds and their own restroom which was another plus for my family. The home was clean and had everything we needed to have a great time at the beach. The only thing that wasn't that great was the noise in the area. There were a lot of people driving around all night and the neighbors were partying until the wee hours of the morning as well as screaming kids. Very noisy. But we still managed to enjoy ourselves.

Rocky point

The unit was roomy and open, kitchen had most everything we needed, and the view was great - walk down the stairway and your on ths beach. Only issues we had, is the 3rd bedroom is NOT connected to the main unit - it is completely separate. That was ok, as we had no small children with us. The VRBO description failed to mention that. Also the parking is a shared space behind the unit. There is a garage, but did not have access to it? Don't know why?

Right on the beach

Very nice property with plenty of room to spread out. We’ll probably be back because of the location and ability to bring our dog. Thank you!

MOST HORRIBLE VRBO EVER - UNSAFE!!!!

For our 20th anniversary we wanted to rent a condo in Rocky Point (one of our favorite places) We intended to book Las Palmas as our grandkids would join us for the weekend/we know they have fun slides. NOPE!!! We were snowed! This place is not Las Palmas-it's Casa Las Palmas (BEWARE)Upon picking up the keys, rental manager informed us to make sure we lock doors as there was a break in last week and someone had a bag stolen. Driving to the condo was a bad alley with trash everywhere. The place is NOT marked at all. We searched for 15 minutes to figure which condo it was. When entering house it was dirty & dog hair everywhere. Third bedroom is outside and looks like it was broken into. To get to the beach,my husband had to jump the wall and lean into the door to open it. Shades are broken. The beach is gross-trash/very seedy! The deck had no draining so the sand from our washed feet remained there. There were no cleaning products to wipe down cabinets. We eventually found the laundry room as it was marked Owners Only-who doesn't give access to laundry facilities at a beach?Doors dont lock.We tried to order food/no cell service. The drains don't drain in the bathrooms. They supplied 2 bath towels and no one came by to even offer more towels. By the 4th day, we had to leave as we think we got bed bugs. We started itching horribly.LUCKILY we found another clean condo at Las Conchas. When we turned in the keys I asked if property manager had ever seen this property-NO! Stay away!

Water leak, bedroom flooded

We arrived Friday night, Aug. 19th. Late night, early morning, there was a big storm. Lots of rain. Woke up to a flood of water in the main bedroom and hallway. There was one single mop and no strainer. We attempted to clean it up, but to big a project to clean. Called emergency number at 6 a.m. left message. Called again at 7 a.m. left message. Called office at 9 when opened. Someone didn’t get there until 11 a.m. didn’t have the proper equipment to clean up. Didn’t return until 1 p.m. of course we had to wait until they cleaned up to leave and lock up the house. The lock at the back gate was removed so we had no security at night from the beach. We lost 1/2 a day of our only full day waiting. I would like to request that I get some sort of compensation for the day lost waiting for clean up. Other then that, the house was a great retreat.

Good Time

This place is as advertiesed. The owner and manager were both easy to deal with and very pleasent. Had no problems everything went as planned. The unit is close to town with plenty of uncovered parking. I would stay again.

fake las palmos

Property was fully equipped with everything necessary. We enjoy Sandy Beach and this property wasn't on that beach but on another less desirable beach. Because this property has the same name as the one on Sandy Beach property we feel we were mislead. Needless to say our stay was a disappointment from our check in.

Beach front oasis

Once you get past the abandoned buildings, vacant lots and dilapidated properties on the way to the condo you find a lovely white building accented with Mexican tiles. The property has been thoughtfully updated with individual HVAC units in all rooms, fantastic beds, tile floors and showers. The kitchen is very well stocked; we cooked in every night and were never lacking for the proper pot, pan or knife. Fun fiesta ware for colorful tables full of locally abundant shrimp, seabass, flounder and more. Our favorite seafood stop was Jesse's fish market near the harbor. Locals sell tamales and other authentic food right at your door if you want. We had massages right on our patio from the local lady that seemed to service that part of the beach. Speaking of beach! It is just out the front door for walking, watching and mesmerizing. Fun place to stay in rustic Puerto Penasco.
