Playa Romántica | Charming Beachfront Getaway with Ocean Views

Playa Romántica — which means Romantic Beach in Spanish — is the ideal beachfront escape, offering stunning views and direct access to the Sea of Cortez. With elegant architecture, large windows, and spacious patios, this home is perfect for couples, families, or anyone seeking a peaceful retreat by the ocean.

This two-bedroom, two-bath home features two oceanfront bedrooms, each with a queen bed, a twin bed, and private patio access — perfect for enjoying the breeze and morning sun.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a coffee maker, blender, microwave, and toaster. The open living and dining area features a cozy fireplace (please bring your own firewood or logs), beachfront views, and quick access to the sand just outside your door.

Additional amenities include a large furnished beachfront patio, ceiling fans throughout, central A/C, an outdoor shower, charcoal barbecue, and Wi-Fi. A TV monitor is available for VCR use (guests must bring their own tapes).

Pets allowed with prior approval. A $75 pet fee applies per pet. No smoking allowed inside. Sheets and one set of bath towels are provided.

Hidden Gem in Rocky Point

The "cottage", compared to the mega-mansions in Las Conchas, was wonderful. Small, intimate, cozy, right on the beach!! Well furnished, clean, comfortable, quiet. I will visit again and again.

We love Playa Romantica

We will always choose to stay here when we come to Rocky Point. The location is right on the beach. Best Views and easiest access steps away from the water.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property exceeded expectations. Pics are a bit outdated and upgrades have been made. Lighting could use some improvement; one ceiling fan had burnt out bulb but no big deal really. Would also recommend getting all bulbs in the same color temperature, especially kitchen and outdoor lights. The cooler, fluorescent colors are jarring at night. Recommend warmer bulb colors. Great location and management company. Super quiet spot (no events at venue next door during our stay). Outdoor loungers starting to fail due to age, sun, etc. Bring a lighter for the propane grill and be sure to turn off tank at source as one knob stuck to on position.

Great Location

Only issues we had was the showers leaked onto bathroom floor. The views are amazing. You are right on the ocean. Great Amenities. You are close to everything, maybe 5 min to old port. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be back for sure!!!

This home exceeded our expectations. To start, the home is fully updated— the pictures do no justice!! Updated appliances, decor, colors— we had no issue. The staff at the rental company was great and check in and out was a breeze
