I am disappointed with my stay at Empire Suites Hotel. The hotel is dirty and rundown. Area is dumpy and smelly. They advertise terraces, but the rooms don’t have them. When I asked the Front Desk to change to a room with a terrace, he confirmed there were none. He justified their website by claiming that the restaurant has a terrace.

Pros - • very affordable • friendly and helpful staff • easy to get tuktuk (local taxi/bikes) from outside the entrance Cons - • aircon doesn’t work very well • Walls are paper thin • There was a window at the top of the wall in the room, when I stood on the bed to see what was outside i found that it looked straight into someone else’s room… very strange. Overall, for the price, I’d say that it was pretty good, and was fine for the 1 night we booked, but i wouldn’t want to stay here for too many nights.

Staff are friendly and attentive. Able to provide you with what you need. Just ask for it. This hotel is family oriented. Just walking distance to restaurant or fast food chain including malls like NCCC for shopping or grocery. If you want a quiet night, this is not a place for you. Hotel stay includes continental breakfast or buffett. They never run out of rice or bread. If you like toasted/salted fish, this is a place for you. During my stay, I lost my Fendi watch, but when I checked out and gone out of the door, somebody found my watch and returned it to me. So that was a great sense of relief.

Its centrally located ..the staff are nice ..
I would recommend this hotel to my friends..check in is nice they give you a mango juice while checking in...and thats great when u travelling all day ..the room are clean...quite and the staff are nice and helpfull also the security guard are friendly i would diffinetely booked this hotel next time again..👍👌

Decend hotel, close to airport
Decend Hotel, 5 mins from airport via Van. Walking distance to some of the nice restaurants. If u like to drink, that's a bar just opposite the hotel. Room is decend. However, breakfast need to improve. I tried the breakfast the first day, but it was bad, and 2nd day I had my breakfast outside.

Great Place to stay in PPC.
My Second visit in the course of one calendar year. Great place to stay when in Puerto Princessa. Convenient, close to shopping and restaurants. A great price for a comfortable stay with a hotel centrally located.

A Friendly Stay
It was my first time to travel alone for a scientific conference. I don't know much about Puerto Princesa but their staff are all friendly and accommodating which makes me comfortable despite being alone in the main island. They are approachable and giddy but not in the i'm-required-to-be-pleasant way. It was genuine. All through out the stay, the hotel provided comfort. It provides the necessary stuff for grooming, the only down side was the internet connection and signal reception.

Hotel has a very low standard
I grew up with my parents working in the hotel until they retire. Empire Suites is definitely not to be considered a hotel but just like an inn. But I think, inns are even way better than them. They’re giving false advertising. They’re the worst hotel I ever stayed in so far.

Terrible hotel. Won’t definitely recommend it!
My senior citizen discount wasn’t applied in my restaurant bill. The staff in Front Desk who’s name is Gen, wasn’t helpful & flexible to apply it herself during check-out. Not very helpful. I also asked for a bottle of water before checking out & I was turned down. Won’t stay in this hotel the next time I go back to Puerto Princesa soon.

so far, so good
overall, it was good! with welcome drinks accomodating staff clean room but when it comes to ironing of your clothes, it's not free, it is 50 pesos per shirt. next, the laundry is downstairs, you cannot leave it on them, laundry is not included in their service.

A superb value if booked through Hotels.com...saved me 25$ every night. Good breakfast. Great staff, especially Tristan and Make at the front desk Located in the heart of Puerto Princesa, can walk to most things./.

same comfort and convenience as before but there were glitches. they ran out of water not good when you have an early flight and it was not resolved. elevator out of order and the rooms and reception is on the 3rd floor.

The hotel is well staffed and the staff are nice. The beds are comfortable and the space is good. It's also convenient to have a restaurant inside the hotel. My problem is with the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Sometimes it smelled like the same scrub rag was being used without cleaning it so a prevailing musk filled the bathroom air. Also, the hot water is not consistent in all the rooms. My hot water would go in and out. I asked to move to another room and it didn't have that problem. My final gripe is with the surrounding shops. Sometimes the shops do specials and they advertise these specials with loud music into the night. There is also a night club nearby that blast their music loudly into the night even past midnight. I asked to move to a room further from the main street and it rectified the problem.

Nice, clean and central
Hotel staff was very courteous and prompt. Would recommend staying at this hotel again. Room was pretty spacious and clean. Hotel is located in the middle of downtown so was central to a lot of places.

Nice hotel close to the airport.
I stayed there for 2 nights. Cheaper to book online than at the hotel. Positives: The staff were always friendly and it was clean. Buffet was pretty good. Wifi was pretty good. Free shuttle to the airport. Negatives were: it was across the road from a very noisey bar which you can hear banging through your room until all hours in the morning. and the cleaners didn't give me a towel or new water when they cleaned the room.

Window-less room, except for one small window into the back office of the front desk's staff. If u speak the language u'll hear a lot of local gossip. For us it was just noise. No hot water. No safe. Stay if you dont have a choice fir one night in puerto.

the location of Empire Suite Hotel is OK, close to eating places and market, the room is spacious for 3 of us, it is not that clean as for me but livable, but the food is always good - breakfast(buffet), because I like fish.....

당혹.
밤비행기로 오고 다음날 호핑을 바로 가기에 호텔에서 머무는 시간이 많지않아 공항과 가까운 곳으로 잡았습니다. 그러나 이선택은 옳지못했습니다. 티키바가 건너편에 있어서 티키바가 새벽 3시4시까지 시끄러워서 잠을 못잤습니다. 또한 조식에서 먹을만한것이 없습니다. 방마다 방음이 되지않습니다. 복도에서 문틈으로 보면 내부가 살짝 보입니다. 직원분들은 매우 친절하십니다. 그리고 1층에 은행이 있어서 가드분 계셔 안전합니다. 또한 1층 마사지는 매우 만족스럽습니다. 시내와 가까워서 시내관광하기에 좋습니다.
