"The apartment is in a great location. The apartments are not lettered. There’s no front desk. So, you don’t have any way to know which one is yours.
I messaged the host with questions about check in and never heard back.
The apartments on the main level do not have outdoor space that is featured in the pictures. The door opens into a parking space that was occupied by a giant truck.
Only small windows so very little natural light.
The front door is not very sturdy. But, has about 7 locks on...

"We had a wonderful week in Sayulita and enjoyed coming home to this place after the day’s activities. We used the outdoor kitchen daily for our breakfast and the AC kept the room nice and cool. If you are noise sensitive, I would recommend bringing some ear plugs, as the street can be noisy at times (I believe there is construction going on in the area st the time of our stay). There’s a little shop at the bottom of the hill where we got our water, drinks and produce from so that was really...

"Room was spotless and modern and the location is great. Really close to the beach so you have to like beach music which runs almost around the clock. Great live band at the bar below my balcony. There was construction on the building so the host arranged a work space at another location during the work day."

"The location was terrific for beach swims and restaurants, with easy walks to the town, and to the path to Nuevo Vallarta. Best for a short stay, as the space is tight. Terrific hosts!"

"All good. We have stayed at the Alamar before and this condo didn't disappoint. The best building and floor as far as we were concerned. Owners very friendly and relaxed."

"This place was awesome! You are staying in a neighborhood. The views are of the mexican neighborhood nothing great! We truly loved our view though. If you want beautiful views this place is not for you. If you want to be in a true neighborhood with friendly people everywhere this is for you. We will definitely be back. Easy walk to town through the real streets of sayulita. One of our best vacations "

"Location: Perfect. 15 mins from the airport. 15 mins from PV center. A few mins walk from the beach.
The hotel is modern (6 years old), the rooms are massive and those facing south offer a panoramic view over the bay. Internet/wi-fi performance seems to be strong everywhere and very reliable. Room service is available 24 hours and rooms are cleaned exquisitely well on a daily basis.
Breakfast: There is enough in quantity to feed a small country, with enough diversity to please any foodie.
There’s lots of seating available inside and out and the staff work very hard and will always greet you with a smile.
The same can be said for the Reception staff and the team working in the rooftop bar. There is a glow of positivity and a genuine warmth and friendliness, matched with efficiency.
All things considered the Mio Vallarta has it all (including a good vibe) and with the advantage of being adults only, a degree of serenity.
I would not hesitate to return…."
"Like many people I had read the reviews and was a little skeptical but let me assure you once we got there everything went seamlessly Yes the resort is a bit on the older side but it's extremely clean everywhere Our room was cleaned daily And once you figure out that Hot is cold and cold is hot you will enjoy a Hot Shower!! LOL
The food for us was really mediocre but you can always find something that you would enjoy eating.
The breakfast are phenomenal with enough choices to please absolutely everybody Fruits are fresh the eggs are fresh ect. The service in eating area is phenomenal they are all super friendly. And you are just a close ride to the Malecon Where the best two for one Margarita are .. Not the hotel that was my one disappointment
The beach is great No Umbrellas but don't worry there is a fella there that will rent you one for 300 pesos for the day. We did that for 7 days .. support the locals :)
This hotel is geared towards the Mexicans You are in Mexico! Oh and our bed was super comfy.. Cheers
