Lots of restaurants, cheaper rates in wet season but higher humidity, and sometimes lots of trash in ocean . There were some mosquitoes in room but they had nets . I stayed 10 nights should have stayed 4 . "

"Schöne Anlage im balinesischen Stil, direkt am Meer gelegen. Die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten war unübertrefflich. Am meisten mochte ich, dass es ein "day bed" auf der Terrasse und eines im Zimmer gab, so konnte man beim Ein dunkeln den Moskitos entkommen und trotzdem gemütlich entspannen. Das Restaurant - direkt am Strand gelegen - servierte einheimische und internationale Küche, die vorzüglich war. "Our first trip to Bali these people are wonderful people and staff were wonderful. We were disappointed that we couldn’t get a hot shower. There wasn’t enough continuous hot water. Maybe we’re spoiled, but we paid quite a bit per night for this room even more than we paid other places, I would expect to be able to take a five minute hot shower even a three minute hot shower."

"Amazing from start to finish.Communication with the owner Karin before booking was great and she even messaged after a couple of days to check everything was ok.The girls Sepi and Ayu made us a lovely dinner every night for the cost of the produce only along with doing all the housework and the washing up.We hired Jutta the driver for the two weeks and he took us anywhere we wanted to go including the Gates of Heaven which was a 4am start.Budi the manager checked in on us a couple of times and was always available on WattsApp.This place is a little piece of heaven in North Bali right on the beach ,so if your up that way don’t hesitate to stay."

The villa itself was clean and property well maintained and the ocean view was amazing.This was our 40th Year Anniversary gift to each other and we could not have asked for a better vacation than this and we have been on many. THANK YOU to our hosts Paul and Melanie for allowing us to enjoy your Pandu Villa."

"Excellent experience The villa was well organised, very spacious,clean, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The food prepared by the 2 ladies was very good, they have cooked for us breakfast and dinner, as per our requests. The pool is 10m long, clean and with a beach view.Melanie and Paul were very helpful and quick to respond to all our questions.At the villa we were looked after lovely staff, very friendly, polite and helpful I had some good massage done at the villa with a beach view.The villa is very safe , security was on site.It is a great space for families and friends. Lots of space inside, 3 bedrooms with his own bathroom, very big leaving room and the outside space more than enough for a big family. The dining table outside can easily accommodate 10 people and there is one in the leaving too.We were just 3 but we felt excellent. North Bali is a beautiful place to be, we were very closed to Lovina, dolphins experience was amazing, the captain came and pick us up from the villa. Menjangan island was the best experience. Our driver took us to the island (40min journey), then we went with a boat (organised just for the 3 of us by our driver)to the most beautiful spot for snorkelling.Everything was closed to our location, Munduk , waterfalls, coffee experience, double lake view. No traffic like in south BaliI love the place very much, Thank you"

"The staff was very helpful and friendly. Iluh was a great cook and helped us with laundry. Leong our driver was awesome. He accompanied and guided us while we visited the waterfalls. The gardener took care of the pool and kept the garden beautifully. The villa was homey and lived in. Some recommendations would be to replace the AC in one of the rooms we stayed in. It wasn't as cold as the other AC in the other room. The beach area was not swimmable. There were lots of trash around and rocks. It wasn't a beach front that you could walk out and swim to the ocean. I would recommend sharing it in the villa description. The villa could also benefit from remodeling. The bathrooms and outside flooring tiles are pretty dated. Overall, we had a nice stay in a remote pieceful area to relax."

"We loved staying at Plataran Menjagen. The beautiful Villa was extraordinary. The Eco-Friendly resort had every thing we had hoped for and more with monkeys and deer running around and coming close to our Villa. The Villa had a sand beach and lagoon. We had the lagoon and beach all to ourselves. The surrounding environment is gorgeous. Very clean and beautiful plants everywhere. A wonderful restaurant a few feet away from our Villa. The Spa therapists were incredible!!! Breakfast is fantastic! The best snorkeling we have ever experience . We hired a boat and an employee joined us. We went to three different places to snorkel. We felt as though we were in an aquarium. So many fish, turtles and even a eel that was 5 feet long. Menjangen Plataran is a Five star Destination."
