Quiet Highland Home set on gorgeous rolling hills and farm in Western Loudoun
Ramble through quaint Purcellville, pass farmland and mountain views and you will come to our quiet and beautiful Highland Home. It is tucked back in the middle of a cow farm with rolling hill views and cattle grazing. Sit on the expansive deck or at the large kitchen table with a cup of hot tea or coffee made from our hot beverage bar(teas imported from London) and gaze at the large oaks and cows grazing on the hillside. It is peace at its best. Step out front and watch the sunset over the distant mountains and then once night falls watch the night sky. The stars are so bright because of the lack of city lights. The kitchen is stocked for all your cooking needs. Towels, linens, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, laundry soap, dish soap, napkins, and kitchen towels are all provided. There are three charming bedrooms on the first floor and two full bathrooms. The master has a walk in shower and tv. The bottom floor has a bedroom with a king bed and attached bathroom with walk in shower. All of the bedrooms have closets and fans. There is a living room on each level with large tv's and seating. In the bottom level living area, you can find a foosball table, drink machine, a double bed, desk and chair, board games and children's toys. The laundry room is on the bottom level. Outside you will find a woodburning stove, chairs, firewood and iron pot. The iron pot is for you to warm your beverage, stew, or soup and have an outside picnic. If you keep the doors open to the woodburning stove, you can make smores, roast hotdogs and toast marshmallows while sitting around the rip roaring fire. This is a wonderful way to make memories!! Take a stroll around the property or down to the nearby stream. Visit a Western Loudoun local winery or brewery which will help you capture the areas beauty. Unique shops, cafes, and restaurants are within minutes of our home. I am happy to assist you with ideas and locations to visit while you stay.

We had the best time at this excellent home. Very clean, gorgeous view, best location! We visited local wineries during the day and enjoyed the games and special touches from the host (extra blankets, well stocked kitchen, plenty of coffee/tea). Multiple generations stayed comfortably and happily! Can't wait to come back!
We were fortunate enough to choose this spot and host for our 4 day stay and it could not have gone any better. A true respite from the 'rest of the word'. Clean, spacious, and with all the amenities you could ask for. Best VRBO experience my family has had. We didn't want to leave.
This home was amazing, had everything we needed and more. Home was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The location was amazing, allowing a short five minute drive to Patrick Henry College, for our son’s graduation. Home is conveniently located to many attractions in the area, including a short 1 hour drive to Dulles International for part of our party. Will definitely stay again.
We enjoyed the location of this quiet highland home away. It was close enough to amenities and sites, but far enough to feel like we were staying in the country. We were able to do day trips to Harpers Ferry, Winchester, Leesburg, Middleburg, but also just enjoyed this surroundings at the property. There were plenty of bed options and the kitchen was well-maintained and equipped. We will return.
Our group of seven was very, very comfortable there. It was nice to have two separate living areas one on the upper floor and one on the lower floor where one area could be the quieter area and the other area could be the louder area. Bedrooms were separate from the main living spaces on both the first floor and the basement which was very nice. Price per value was excellent, and whenever I return to the area, I will happily stay there again if it’s available!
The three of us saw Anne Wilson, went to the Bible Museum, and went to Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg. We enjoyed several Leesburg eateries: Buford Biscuits, Cowbell Kitchen, and Lightfoot, and Rebellion. We really wished we had more time in your beautiful home. It was so serene and peaceful to be out in the woods.
My family and I wanted a quick weekend getaway and Jill’s house was absolutely perfect. The decor is homey yet modern, the house is beyond clean and the kitchen and bathrooms have all that you need and then some. Jill even left some muffins for us as a welcome gift. If you are looking for a top notch house, look no further!
The property was just as described. A quiet home surrounded by beautiful land but not too far away from area attractions and restaurants. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The weather didn't cooperate so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor areas around the home. If you are traveling with little ones I would recommend bringing a baby gate due to the stairway being open in the kitchen area.
What a wonderful stay! This VRBO was perfectly clean and super homey. We loved the decor and welcoming touches. I stayed with my colleagues for a week of offsite meetings, so we appreciated the many bedrooms and bathrooms plus the open meeting space. The wifi was a bit slow at times for our purposes working remotely. I'm sure a more casual user wouldn't have any issues. The location was fantastic. So peaceful and secluded feeling, but in reality just a short drive to Purcellville and Leesburg. Thank you very much Jill!
Local to the area and had to find a location close to home while our floors were being refinished. I was lucky to find this little gem tucked away in Purcellville for my family of 6. The house was beautiful and it was a breath of fresh air to have a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. (great shampoo and soap; sometimes it's the little things) The host was wonderful and even worked with me when we had to extend our stay for two more days. She even provided us with farm-fresh eggs and local muffins. (the kids loved them)
If you are in VA and need a modern relaxing location this is the place for you.
We spent NYE weekend there and the property is fantastic. Our family loves to visit northern VA and we decided last minute to find a place to hide away for the weekend. This property was the perfect destination. The property was spacious, had many areas inside for adults and our teenagers to enjoy. We loved the outdoor stove and a stroll around their expansive property. The town of Purcellville is nearby and has all the amenities needed if necessary. The homeowner and host Jill insured we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Our family was looking for a house off the beaten path and this property was exactly what we were looking for. I would strongly recommend this property. We will be back again.
We absolutely loved our stay here. There was plenty of space to spread out and the setting was beautiful. Great spot for a peaceful, relaxing stay.Thank you!
