Purden Lake Provincial Park

Great stay and the staff were very welcoming. The building has suffered some wear and tear, the elevators look pretty worn and the signs of use are apparent. Some investment into freshening up the look of the property could prove helpful for return visits. Other than those items the room was clean, the bedsheets were ready but not pressed well which was functional but not pleasing upon entry. Overall, the big seller was the location was reasonably close to downtown with parking on a weekend providing access without dealing with downtown Victoria.

Stunning property and experience! We celebrated our anniversary here and had the most incredible time - including generous free drinks. Highly recommend the couples massage outdoors on the sea and the entire spa / baths area is not to be missed!

Location was everything about the empress. Great food at the hotel and near with walkable access to the heart of Victoria. Highly recommend renting a car as a lot of cool castles and beaches are close drives away. The garden was fantastic and live music and salmon at the hotel restaurant was great .
