Great experience!

We had a great stay on Middle Bass Island. The condo was bright, clean, and had plenty of space. The balcony and the view out onto the lake were beautiful! Check in and check out we're both very easy, and the ability to call a shuttle to pick us up when needed was a great bonus. We didn't spend a lot of time at the pool area, but it looked very fun! We would definitely stay at this location again!

Good short getaway

When we walked in, it smelled clean, which is always a plus! It was comfortable and worked for what we needed it for. Pretty view of the lake and we were able to see the sunrise every morning. The air conditioner was very loud, so we had to turn it off before going on the patio, but we weren't bothered by it other than that. The property itself was a bit run down on the outside, but I'm not sure that's anything the owners can do something about. It was nice and secluded and our kids liked playing at little beach off to the side. The beds weren't the most comfortable and the place could be upgraded, but all in all, it was a good place to stay with our kiddos for a quick trip.

Girls weekend

Overall was great. The condo is just as pictured except there is no outdoor grill on the patio. The whole resort property was great. Pool and tiki bar lots of fun. I would recommend taking a wagon or something to haul your stuff to your condo though. We were on the second floor and way down at the opposite end. We had a lot of stuff to haul and it was kind of a pain to do with no luggage cart or wagon. Not being negative! Just factual. I would go back there again in a minute and probably will!

Peaceful Getaway

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. MBI is a lovely place to unwind. The property had an issue with water towards the end of our week, so we left a day early. However, we will return, and recommend a visit for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Nice condo, clean. Host was awesome in being flexible about arrival/ departure times. Wish there had been an extra towel but we could wash & we brought our own extra toilet paper (which was needed with only 3 people staying). Location at middle bass is excellent with pretty view of lake and easy to get to PIB by ferry, rent gold cart to see all areas of middle bass, etc.

Girls Trip 2023

This was the kickoff girls trip for 6 of us girls who have traveled together for several years. 4 of us have traveled together since the mid 1990's so finding a place for us to get together once again was important. This place didn't disappoint. The island was amazing and everyone we met was so friendly. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you.

Great place to rest and restore

My friend and I went on a rest and restore trip. The island is quiet, quaint, and peaceful. Great food and drinks at the Island Grind. Jane is wonderful (the owner). This condo was nicely appointed. The view is spectacular and so is the decor in the unit. Some areas seemed neglected by the cleaning crew (faucets, ceiling fans). I would recommend bringing groceries to the island with you. The store has limited items. Great bar food at Hazards. We will definitely return to the island and the unit!

Very nice condo on the water

The condo was beautiful and the people were wonderful! A great little community and a nice place to go and relax. The balcony overlooking the water was my favorite place for morning coffee, evening wine, and anything in between! Easy check-in at Walleye’s and loved the lagoon! Short walk from the Condo to Hazards to enjoy the pool and bar. Best selection of food and great people was at the General Store / Restaurant! Everyone was very friendly and helpful with any questions. The air conditioning unit on the balcony is really loud but I don’t see a way the owner can change that. The balcony is small and that’s the only place for it. Hope to return!

Very nice condo on the water!

We loved the condo! Right on the water so sitting on the balcony was beautiful. Such cute decorations throughout gave it a real beachy feel. Check in at Walleye’s was easy and we got there early, had lunch, and enjoyed the beautiful lagoon! What a great atmosphere! Easy walk to Hazards from the condo to use the pool/bar. Unfortunately Hazards had drastically cut their menu due to difficulty getting in supplies. This made it impossible for us to eat there due to dietary restrictions but the restaurant at the General Store was great and the people there were so very nice! We loved the unit and do recommend but for planning purposes I will share that the downsides: We didn’t realize how bad the water would be. We packed light and planned to wash clothes there but the water randomly turns yellow to brown and we were afraid it may ruin our clothes if it turned bad while we were doing a load of laundry. The air conditioning unit is very loud on the balcony and ran almost constantly even though we kept all windows closed and tried keeping the temperature a little higher. If staying a few days like we did, you will want a car or golf cart to get around the island. People on the island were all so nice and welcoming, I would definitely go back again.

Absolutely beautiful home! The decor made it feel very homey and welcoming! We are so grateful to have stayed here. A few noteworthy things is that the sleeper sofa should have a little more attention to it when vacuuming do to it being advertised as another bed. Also the air vent above one of the twin beds leeks condensation and my friend woke up wet. Not a big deal. Just something to think about. 10/10 would recommend!

Disappointed in the cleanliness of the property (the unit itself), kitchen supplies were not complete, one bakeware pan, one cutting knife, not stocked with adequate amount of toilet paper and paper towels, we had to go buy but we got reimbursed 20.00 for the toilet paper and paper towels, had to buy Kleenex too, beach wasn't cleaned up from flood waters two weeks earlier, just needs to be completely updated and cleaned from head to toe - kitchen sink falling apart too!
