Küstenhof am Kap Arkona - Holiday home "Königsmeerblick"

The red, thatched-roof holiday home, situated on a property of approximately 10,000 square metres, captivates with its unique location—right on the sea—in the north of the island of Rügen, near Cape Arkona. With about 2,100 hours of sunshine, this area enjoys more sunlight than almost anywhere else in Germany. The former farmhouse, situated in a stunning, peaceful location on the steep cliffs of the Baltic Sea, was built in 1855. It underwent extensive restoration in 1998, was thoroughly renovated in 2012–2013, and was divided into three lovingly furnished holiday units. A direct path leads down the small cliffs to the beach, which features pebbles and sand. The three holiday apartments available in the house are ideal for families of friends or for a stay with an extended family. The large property and a sauna are available for shared use. There is a fee for using the sauna: 2€ for 1 hour.
Each apartment comes with a beach chair.

One half of the thatched-roof, old farmhouse houses the 100-qm “Königsmeerblick” holiday apartment, which spans three levels. The apartment, with a total of 4 rooms, accommodates 6 people. It is laid out as follows: On the ground floor, there is a living room, an entryway, a kitchen-diner, a storage room, and a guest bathroom with a washing machine and dryer, which are available for your use free of charge. On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms with double beds and a large bathroom with a bathtub and shower. A staircase leads from the ground floor to the attic, which houses the third bedroom with two single beds—ideal for children. At Königsmeerblick, a wood-burning stove is available for guests to enjoy cosy evenings. The Reethaus is a smoke-free home; pets are welcome by arrangement. For families with small children, a high chair, a cot, children’s toys, and books are available. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner ceramic cooktop, oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster, electric kettle, range hood, washing machine, and, of course, plenty of dishes, silverware, and pots. The house features an LCD TV, satellite TV, CD player, radio, and Wi-Fi and DSL internet access. From almost every window in this apartment, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea. Also facing the sea is the large sun terrace with teak furniture, which is accessible directly from the kitchen area. The garden on the 10,000-square-meter property features outdoor furniture and a lawn for sunbathing. The property has its own access down to the beach, which consists of pebbles and sand at this point. On the steep cliff directly next to the house, there is a hiking and biking trail with a magnificent view of the Baltic Sea. It is approximately 4 km to Altenkirchen, which offers excellent shopping, approximately 3 km to Juliusruh, which has restaurants and shops, and approximately 6 km to Cape Arkona.
