"Loved the location it was so peaceful, The kids enjoyed feeding harold the pony and seeing the cows .Unfortunately the house was lacking the cleanliness, my bed sheets had a stain on it black hair throughout , the couches were filled with hair and food scraps in the folds and most likely have dust mites , the kitchen benches havent been clean in years ! The sugar jar had ants throughout it . The worst part was finding the mop that had been used to clean the floors it was black and very unhygienic i had a toddler and the thought of her being on thoose floors . It was abit dissapointing if it was cleaner it would be great i did read reviews mentioning the cleanless of the property going back years but had of hoped it improved obviously not such a shame we ended up cutting our trip shoet and leaving early ."

"Cabin was well appointed and easy to find from map that was sent via text as reception was not open at all during the hours of our stay. Kitchen light flickered continuously and floor was visibly dirty. Ants in both bedrooms and kitchen table was really grubby. "

"We stayed for two nights. The second night of our stay new owners had taken over. They seems friendly. The hotel rooms have been updated and are quite nice. However there is a fair amount of work to be done to patch walls where furniture has been removed. Looking forward to staying again in the future and seeing the changes. "

There has been a lot of care and attention to detail put into preserving the atmospheric charm of this church. It was easily the most comfortable sleep I have had away from home in a long time.
