"We loved this cottage. It was clean and welcoming with a variety of homely features. The kitchen was very well stocked with a large variety of cooking options and many of the incidentals required for meal preparation. The bedrooms were bright, the beds and pillows very comfortable and we had plentiful wardrobe space. In the living area, the chairs and couch were also very comfortable. Unfortunately our stay was short so we didn't have the opportunity to use any of the recreational facilities which included: kayaks and bikes; a fire pit surrounded by garden; an outdoor table for dining or playing games, and comfortable chairs and a lounge on the front verandah where we could enjoying the view across the park to the estuary. Inside the house there was a great assortment of books, games and videos for those who want them.The estuary foreshore is close by and it features an easy walk path that follows the estuary and takes you to a playground, barbecues and community gym equipment. The bird life was profuse and it was relaxing to just stop at one of the many seats along side the path and just take in the surrounds. Overall, the property offers great flexibility as a relaxing and enjoyable holiday destination, an excellent location with easy access to food shops and surrounding features and it is, a lovely, very well presented and equipped cottage."

"Chose this accommodation to trial travelling with my pet cavoodle. Just a one night stay to see how she'd react to new environment (sights, sounds & smells). The location is pristine, relaxed feel about the area, Mandurah region is definitely pet friendly, accommodation meticulously maintained, presents well, clean & spacious. I only came with my fur child but the facilities available definitely caters for a family, with safe play areas and large pool. There is a brewery within walking distance that serves delicious food, family focused & also pet friendly."

"Skylight Retreat was an absolute treat to stay at with our family. Plenty of space, clean, and close to a large variety of shops. Plenty of local attractions for the whole family to enjoy nearby and walking distance to the water which the children loved dipping their toes in. Our hosts were incredibly kind with outstanding and prompt communication. We cannot wait to go back."

"WritingWe had the perfect weekend away with a group of friends. The house is beautifully maintained and very well looked after. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything you need. The host was easy to contact and very responsive.From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth, easy, and enjoyable. We couldn't fault a thing. The beds were comfortable and a great size, making for a very relaxing stay. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it."
