This hotel could be so much better. Initial impressions are “wow” but then you start to see the cracks and the fact it needs some TLC and attention to detail. The location is amazing with stunning views but the biggest issue is the air conditioning in the room - we struggled to get it below 28C because the system is old and hasn’t been serviced, especially in the main bedroom. We had to ask for a fan from the manager to make it bearable so we could sleep. At circa £400 a night you expect better and this was the worst hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks in the Peleponnese. Other issues include the dreadful, overpriced pool bar food and drink, the rundown pool and sun loungers, and the private beach that no one looked after (crappy sunbeds and no beach service). With a bit of investment and some love and attention to detail, this place could be incredible. Leventes nearby for dinner was amazing - go there for dinner and sunsets and give the hotel food and drink a miss.

This hotel is isolated and of a very high standard and very quiet. Beach is isolated from the public and if you are looking for a relaxing getaway, I would highly recommend this place. We will certainly be back !!

Beautiful property!

Beautiful property on the sea near Ancient Olympia. Rooms are very large, restaurant and pool bar have excellent service and food. There are mature, stunning flowers all around the property. Really lovely, peaceful environment.

The property was absolutely lovely, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating! All the rooms were spacious and clean with incredible views of the Ionian see.The property is gated and safe with shaded parking spots. The surroundings are serene and quiet, even though you’re only 10 minutes away from the restaurants at the marina. We loved the private beach with the beautiful calm, Waters and the Infinity pool. My only suggestion would be to trim some of the bamboo in front of the Infinity pool, but other than that, it was absolutely perfect and I cannot wait to go back and stay longer.

The place is a wonderful retreat. Peaceful and calm, very clean and staff were very helpful. Some minor issues are not enough to ruin the 5/5 for this one. The minor issues were that the place felt a bit understaffed and the fact that the food was good but not great. One can find excellent food options nearby. All in all an excellent experience we will be coming back for sure!

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at Marr Dei Suites. Initially we booked for 2 days but decided to stay an extra day. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff very attentive. From the time we checked in with Tsia. The interactions with the staff at breakfast , to the staff at the pool our stay was perfect. We looked for something quiet and with a private beach so we could relax as a family and spend more quality time together - for us this was perfect We enjoyed snacks and meals at the pool bar /restaurant and enjoyed driving through the olive fields to Amalias for some other dinner options Other larger towns are near as well Special thanks to : Panagotis and his coworker The very polite lady working at the pool bar. VERY DISAPPOINTING !

On arrival we were charged an extra 450 euros due to a booking error . I had called the hotel and Expedia to make them aware of the booking error. Expedia had made notes on their booking and hotel staff had notes on the reservation too. We were to pay an additional fee that I was fully aware of and the fee was agreed to be 200 euros. Instead when we arrived it was an additional amount of 450 euros. There was no compromise on their part, no upgrade and no trying to please the customer. When asked to talk to the manager we were told we would need to make an appointment. When they offered to make an appointment, the manager was only available 3 hours later. Very unprofessional. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!

For the cost it’s not worth it.

While the hotel looks okay there are many faults we found during our stay. We actually reported these to the hotel and was told - thank for these - no apology- no offered to correct in a way. I normally don’t put up reviews but for the price we paid for one night I was so disappointed. The welcome at reception felt very cold- no music in the lobby receptionist made it feel like we had kept here there to check in (we checked in around 5pm). 2. Room is lacking any 4 star touches - you provide a kettle and cups but no coffee station. According to 4star standards this is a basic inclusion. 3. Shower had only luke warm water - 4. The back of our bedroom door is so warped it looks terrible. 5. The toilet seat is loose and when you sit on it your slide to the side so you have to hold on almost. 6. The beach lounges there is no care loungers scattered everywhere so many broken ones etc. 7. The general feel of the hotel is there is little care - in the railings all the ropes are loose or missing. 8. Door to the patio needs oil or something it scrapes so loudly when you open it. 9. Hairdryer is old, it has almost no power so it takes forever to dry your hair.

Das Personal war herausragend! Wir bekamen ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrade und hatten einen unglaublichen Ausblick! Auch der Late check out war kostenfrei für uns. Das Frühstück war lecker, frisch und wurde immer wieder aufgefüllt. Wir haben beim gesamten Aufenthalt wunderbar herzliches Personal gehabt. Leider war die Lage für uns nicht ganz optimal. Das Hotel hat das aber definitiv ausgeglichen.

Après avoir visité le site d’Olympie, j’avais réservé 3 nuits au Mare Dei pour nous reposer dans le confort et le luxe de cet hôtel. 3 jours merveilleux, la piscine très propre et agréable tout comme la plage privée. Detan skal forvente er total afslapning, og ro, og så er ALT godt, men hvis man skal have champagne, kaviar og sene aftner i baren, er dette slet ikke stedet. Nogle af dem der har været skuffet har ikke vidst at ddette er præmissen. Vi havde præcis den ferie vi gerne ville have.
