A good hotel, super clean and with very good attention from the staff despite the limitation that not all employees speak English. The breakfasts were very good. Recommended.

The front desk staffs were helpful and sent my bag to the room. I was confused on how to locate the light switch for the bathroom. Guests are allowed to smoke in the public area, so I ordered my dinner to eat in the room. Breakfast buffet was not good! I had the worst orange juice ever. It looks like pineapple juice but taste like from juice powder mix.

This is an excellent, clean, very spacious hotel
This is an excellent, clean, very spacious hotel near the new airport that's being built. Its 50km from the existing airport, and unless yr staying here for business nearby or one of the many Meetings/Incentive/Convention/Exhibitions they host, its a LONG way (allow an hour to the brewery at RMB 200 by taxi) into town. The food, especially in the Chinese restaurant and the breakfast in Feast, the lobby lounge are superb with a very wide selection. Both are strongly recommended. My only comment would be that very few (and almost none of the junior) staff spoke English (and equally, no, I don't speak their mother tongue), which I'd expect in an international hotel. ALL the staff (wait staff, concierges, reception and so on) have a translation app on their phones, so communication is not that difficult, but my (yes, foreign, monolingual) view is that the translation app is a DIS-incentive for the staff to learn English (or French, Spanish, Russian whatever). That said, the staff were all without exception, pleasant, smiling, couldn't have tried harder and came over as very eager to please, and trying hard to be as professional as possible.

Comfortable hotel in China for the Chinese
Hotel was good, food was great, being English it was a little difficult to communicate (I found myself having to ask for an English speaker quite a lot) however that is being a little picky considering I was in China. Also being English I found it difficult to stomach the constant coughing up of phlegm and spitting it into the strategically placed rose petal and water filled bowls throughout the hotel. I guess most of the guests here would be Chinese and used to it!

Far from airport but worth it
Great hotel, but was far from the airport (about 45 minute taxi ride - $20 USD). The room was very luxurious and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety.

a good option for business travelers!
the best hotel in the area, a good option to avoid travel and stay closer to my factory. One lady at the front desk went beyond the call of duty & was Very Helpful to get a plane ticket for me - her name was "Cherry" - awesome! the air conditioning seems to not be very controllable in the room, ie: you can't get the room really cool - but the curtains kept the room dark. The GM takes care and seems to work 24 hr's a day! Overall, a good experience

great effort in general, only thing I can suggest/comment for improvement is the phone service at front desk could use improvement - more than once, I got feedback that "a manager will call you back" English speaking at front desk/operator level could improve

Stay here lots in the past year. Best hotel in the area. Buffet is good with lots of choices. If you get bored of the food there are lots of options close by including a western style mall about 5 minute walk away.

Room is comfy and nice, but environment not clean, sticky floor in restaurants, no light on hall way to room, food is bad for the price you paid comparing with other Sheraton Hotels in China. A buffet breakfast costed RMB178 with horrible food and dirty environment. For that location, hotel will be ok if food less pricey.

Beautiful but far from Qingdao
Top notch rooms and hotel for the price but much too far and difficult to reach from Qingdao and airport. I unfortunately had to move after the taxi scamed me into paying the equivalent of half the room fee to get there from airport! Taxi drivers don't want to go there nor use the meter, eventhough the hotel website lists the the cab fare being 150rmb, i was charged double and the night staff at hotel provided little help to negotiate with the taxi driver.

Dear Guest, It is indeed regretful that you had a disappointing stay at our hotel recently. Jiaozhou is only a 45 minute to an hour's drive away from Qingdao; however, due to road works on the freeway, a lengthier route had to be taken over the past few weeks. The freeway is now open to traffic again. The drive on the world's longest sea bridge, which connects Qingdao and Jiaozhou, is often looked forward to by our guests! Organizing transport to Qingdao is done several times a day for our guests by our concierge team, who are always willing to assist, whether our guests choose to use the hotel transport or public taxis. A considerable number of guests, whether on holiday or on business, choose to stay regularly at our hotel and travel daily to Qingdao, to take advantage of the facilities provided by our hotel. This hotel is excellent..5 star facilities. Good dinner buffet in the first floor restaurant, the a la carte menu from the Chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor is very good. The staff are very helpful, particulary "Jenny" (I think it was) at the front desk. There are just 2 strikes against here, 1 is very minor. The Chinese lunch buffet isnt worth it. Had it one day and found very little worth eating and nothing to recommend it. Would have been better and cheaper to just get some fried rice and sweet and sour pork from the normal menu. Not a big thing though. The other is.. Only stay in this hotel if you have business in the immediate area. I was in a hurry booking and mistakenly booked here thinking it was somewhat near Qingdao (since Qingdao is in the hotel name..it shouldnt be). To get to Qingdao is an hour long bus ride or taxi (taxi will charge 250RMB+, the bus is just 20RMB, but you need to take a taxi to the bus station). If youre on business its perfect. If youre sight seeing/travelling then dont stay here.

It is just too far away from Qingdao. I would not stay there again if I wanted to be in Qingdao and would advise others the same.

Nice new Hotel with Sheraton
Hotel is very clean and staffs are very kind.Room facility is alo excellent. Internet speed was not slow by free of charge. But it takes one hours from Qingdao.Airport.,Taxi driver don't know this Hotel by english address.Whoever come to this Hotel,chinese address i essential. Except for distance this Hotel is excellent. When i took shower ,water is very hot and not controllable,this things has to be checked by plumbers. I wat to give "A"+ Grade hotel.

Although the hotel slightly aged but overall keep in okay condition. Room is clean and nice facilities, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location. One complaint , in winter time the air conditioner cannot catch the temperature you set, the room is a bit hot. If you are doing the choice between Sheraton and Marriott. Go for this one. I try both.
