"We arrived a bit after 9:30pm and waited in line to checkin. The front desk clerk was friendly and calmly handled the long line. The main lobby and dining area looked nice. That is where the positive statements end.
When you enter the hallway for available rooms and elevators, you are instantly smacked with the foul odor of weed and animals. There are visible spots on the carpet where an animal had relieved themselves. We have three dogs (50-70lbs) at home and were overwhelmed by how bad it smelled. Anywho, by the time we got to our room it was 10pm. Upon entry, we saw a circular spot on the carpet (assuming from animal based on odor), dirty towels hanging from the shower curtain rod, a tick on the bathroom floor, and visible stains on the bedding (leave that to your imagination). We have a two year old and I’m 9 months pregnant, we decided to stay. When I awoke in the morning (4:30a) I attempted to take a shower, there was no hot water. I went downstairs a bit after 5 to speak with the clerk who stated the water heater was down last night. Then he had me speak with a “long term” tenant who said it had actually been down for 3 days. There was no estimated time for this being fixed. When I came back down around 8:30 it was a different clerk and he said it had been down since yesterday afternoon. When I asked why we were not notified of this upon checkin, he began stating how this has been an inconvenience for him. There was no resolution until others complained."
