Weekend in Quebec City

We had a great time in Quebec City. The location of this apartment is perfect, in Old Quebec City, walking distance to everything. The apartment has everything you need, even a washer and dryer. It was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The apartment is on the third floor with no elevator.

The apartment was lovely. Very well equipped in the kitchen, with all you would need for cooking. Very nice and convenient location to shops and restaurants. Was quiet and bed was very comfortable. The layout of the apartment is a bit unusual with bedroom located as soon as you enter the apartment but understandable to ensure light in the living room.Overall a lovely experience.

Location is great. Outside of building looks a little rough along with the building next door. It’s on the 3rd floor and no elevator option. We parked our car (20/day) and walked everywhere. Inside was good, had mostly everything we needed. Missing a few items needed for cooking in. No food stores nearby to pick up kitchen items or food. Bed was comfortable but the “bedroom” had no door and was right when you enterd into the place which was hard to tell from the pictures shown. Roof top has great view and a nice place to sit and relax.

The positives - the suite was a good size and was relatively clean. It was in a perfect location for exploring the old town. We loved being able to open the big old windows onto the street below. The management company was quick to reply to our inquiries. The negatives: the stairs - good thing we were only on the second floor. As seniors it was a struggle to get up to the suite with our luggage. The sofa bed was awful. One of us used most of the extra bedding to make the couch itself somewhat comfortable. The lighting was poor. Also the manual for the suite was french only. I assume this was a guide to the operation of appliances and to things of import in the neighbourhood - corner stores, good restaurants etc. When I inquired I was told it was not available in english. Seemed a bit unwelcoming. I would not be inclined to return to this property.
