"The staff at this property are wonderful. Everyone was freindly and helpful. We received helpful suggestions from both Sophia nad Matteo. The hotel itself is beautiful. Our room was lovely, very celan and had everything we needed. The location is also fantastic. It is a 5 minute walk to the main terrace/ waterfront and lots of restuarants. It is also very close to the newer section of Quebec City as well. The parking was super easy and close, well worth the money which was reasonable. We would absolutely stay at Le Manoir d'Auteuil again."

"We very much enjoy the location of the hotel, which was away from the hustle and bustle of Le Château Frontenac. Yes, it was at the bottom of the hill, but this was no problem. It was situated near numerous art galleries, as well as the oldest part of old Quebec. The Front desk staff and the concierge and the porters were very helpful. The only reason I gave the staff how far was the bar staff was a little sullen and a little slow. But, to be fair they seem to work very long hours. The drinks were good and one night there was a really excellent singer/piano/musician. That was absolutely fabulous. Our room was great and the heated floors in the bathroom were excellent. I would definitely go back and highly recommend."

"Location was great, very central. It’s an older building. The windows were nailed shut, so the air in the room was a bit stale when we arrived, but it had a ceiling fan in the bathroom which helped. The fridge didn’t work, but they had an ice machine and we had a cooler so we were able to get by. The restaurant downstairs was great. It’s too bad they don’t have any promos associated with the hotel like a 15% off meal or free drink. If you want to be central, it’s a decent option."

"The property and rooms are exactly as described, clean and comfortable, private parking (extra 25CAD/24hrs) and the location is excellent. Great value for the price. We were four people with different preferences (two rooms, one of which was essentially two, with a dividing door), and all were happy. If you’re looking for shiny perfection, not for you. I enjoy a place with character, rather than impersonal chains. Imperfect finishes and other quirks are fine, and the room layouts work well and have what I need: comfy beds, hardwood floors, en suite bathroom. Mini fridge and 1-cup coffee maker in each room, microwave and vending machine in the lobby. A few steps from the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel, Promenade Champlain, museums, and many, many restaurants to please all tastes, including coffee shop next door. Easy walking to all of the old town. Would stay again, and recommend."
