We stayed overnight to catch an early morning flight so we missed breakfast. We did enjoy our dinner at Boston Pizza in the hotel. It was a cold, dark afternoon and evening so the fireplace in the room was a nice touch.

Staff very friendly, helpful and bilingual. Hotel is in an excellent location, close to airport and many restaurants, shopping arcade and cinema in walking distance. Great hotel for kids. Hotel could use a little updating. Cleanliness in building 3.5/5 and room 4/5. Bed comfort 4/5, needs extra pillows. I paid 190$/night..little overpriced. I would recommend and stay here again.

There were a lot of people checking in at 5pm, but the three staff were very quick to move through the line. We stayed in a Queen room and a pullout couch. They already turned the couch into a bed, accompanying the three of us. The beds were comfortable, we would have preferred two pillows each, but there were only 4 between the two beds. The room was clean. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Enough towels for everyone. The paper cups in the bathroom were a bit odd, but fine. The pool was the draw for our son, he could have spent all day in there. The slide was too scary for him (three curls and dark inside, but would be fantastic for ages 7+. Breakfast was decent. Cereal, toast, pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, and coffee/tea/hot chocolate/juice. Breakfast ends at 10:30am, but cleanup starts around 10am. The outdoor patio was noisy with the fans outside, do not recommend.

Hot tub is not hot but more like a whirlpool style. It's a family oriented hotel so the pool whirlpool areas are quite busy. Don't expect to relax in the tub. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was great.

Overall experience ok. The room was located in a remote part of the hotel so to get there, you had to take 2 elevators and go through the premises. Not really convenient to get to the pool. We arrived on a Sunday. On Monday mornings, the pool is closed until 12:30 and the spa until 4:30. The watergames were closed for maintenance. The breakfast was a let down. Depending on the day, there was not a lot of options available. The lady in charge of the breakfast area was rude to customers and other staff. The room was cleaned but not really charming, no decoration on the walls. These are details but it matters when you pay for a room. Disappointed by the Jaro, I was expecting more from them.
