The floors were not swept, there was no light switch in the bathroom. One light switch controlled the entire hotel room.(room 401) So if you needed to use the restroom at night, you were guaranteed to wake everyone else in the room up. If you’re just looking for a one night stay then it’s fine. You are walking distance to the beach and several restaurants.

We loved the location. We had an ocean front room and could walk across the street to the beach or 5 min down the street to restaurants. Centrally located for quick trips to the rainforest and old San Juan. We LOVED both restaurants.

I had to plan a last-minute trip to visit Puerto Rico for family matters, and the staff at Tropical Beach Hotel were incredibly accommodating. Great spot for a conference, excellent customer service and atmosphere. Views are breathtaking. Waterpark is amazing for kids. Food is the only thing that needs improvement.

Minutes from the rainforest. This is a top notch resort. A higher floor will give better rainforest views. Sweet little casino too. Loved it.
