"We recently stayed at Wyndham Resort Torquay and had a fantastic family holiday overall. The two bedroom apartment was excellent - clean, spacious and very comfortable for a family. Having two bathrooms was incredibly handy. Our kids absolutely loved the facilities, especially the indoor pool, outdoor spa and arcade. We visit Torquay every year to see family and usually rent a house, but this time I decided to try something different and I’m so glad we did. In fact, my kids have already made me promise we’ll stay here again next year! The only downside was the check in process. When we arrived there were four staff members at reception, but only one appeared to be helping customers, resulting in a queue of five people waiting to check in. Once it was finally my turn, I was passed between three different staff members. One welcomed me and provided a form to complete, another processed the paperwork and issued the keys, and then I was directed to a third staff member for a sales pitch about free breakfast and Wyndham’s other properties. The whole process felt unnecessarily complicated and took far longer than it should have. That said, the accommodation and facilities more than made up for it, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"First room we were allocated had a terrible amonia smell. After calling reception we were moved very quickly to another room which was greatly appreciated. This room however didnt have a working bathroom fan. One big recommendation is to pack your pillow. The pillows in the room were terrible."

"NO STAFF IN ATTENDANCE FOR OUR STAY OF 19 Hrs Keys to room left in an envelope at the front entrance No other quests or any staff which was quite unsettling Shared bathroom amenities down a passage way Radiator heater only which was not sufficient Coffee available was stale Lock on our door we felt was not safe seeing as we were the only two on this pretty big premises and it was very difficult to actually lock Front door to premises was unlock all day On return from our dinner we had to lock the front door ourselves all the time hoping there no intruders had entered while we were at dinner First floor accommodation very difficult for us as we had luggage and are in our 80’s We realise it was advertised as share bathroom facilities but for one night at $205 was excessive "
