Inside a kitchenette with sink, under-bench fridge/freezer with a separate external door freezer (for ice-cream and frozen foods), and a microwave and small appliances, jug, toaster and a Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Pod machine, (BYO coffee pods, available at all the supermarkets).

Your carpark is right outside your door, and there's an option to rent our RAV4 AWD (4X4) Car and Mountain Bikes. (please ask about availability for your stay).

The apartment is right above the famous Frankton walk/cycle-way, beside the lake ... there are literally 100s of miles of safe off-road scenic cycle/walkways all around Queenstown..

The apartment is 3.6km to the Airport and 4.2 kms to the centre of town. There is a bus stop at the road side entrance and it's an easy 8 minute walk to the Marina water taxi, great coffee and food at the Boatshed Cafe and Bakery and other options for dinner at the Marina too :)

Our rental car is an old (year 2000) Toyota 3 door, 4 seater RAV-4, SUV all wheel drive (4X4) with ski/snowboard racks, (please check availability). It is an automatic and easy to drive.

If you are over 25 and have a current drivers license, you can hire the car for the day/nights of your stay for only $59.00 per day, (a run through the carwash, and topping it back up to full before you leave it parked back at the apartment when you leave on your last day. It is a NZ$35-$40 Taxi to and from the Airport or catch the Airport Bus, it leaves the Airport every 15 minutes and costs only a few dollars... drops you off at the driveway entrance :)

You do need to pay a deposit of NZ$500, as this is our insurance excess for any accidents, it is a full commercial comprehensive insurance, (but unlike a car rental company), you get this back in full after your stay as long as there are no incidents ... if you are happy with this, and the car is available for your stay, you are welcome to rent it :) You are also welcome to take the car if you are under 21 to 24 years old too, but the bond then increases to our insurance excess of $1000 for younger drivers. SEE MY FEEDBACK AS A RENTER FOR ASSURANCE WHEN MAKING A DEPOSIT :)

We also have four older mountain bikes which live on site, which we rent out for just $20 each per day, (we can discount for a longer stays/use ), again please inquire as to availability during your stay.

The Magnificent Views of the Lake & Mountains aren't affected by a luxury apartment development on the neighbouring site, however do expect some intermittent noise, for which the nightly rates have been heavily discounted in the short term

Queenstown Council rules allow construction noise between 7.30am and 6pm Monday to Saturday. They do generally start later and finish earlier. There is not usually work on Satudays, but definitely all is quiet on Sundays and public holidays.

The construction site is vast with 63 apartments so noise is intermittent depending where on the property there is work occurring, l stayed in April and it did not affect our stay, however bring some earplugs to guarantee a sleep-in :)
