Right from the beginning of the booking, it was easy. Then when we arrived we had the lovely Eve step us through anything and everything, she made our stay super. I would recommend the YHA hostel to anyone looking for cheap accommodation in the heart of Queenstown with great facilities. Thanks YHA 😍

No free parking. Spent $48 on man street parking. No towel, no bath soap and shampoo and terrible bed. I thought i save money cause the hotel is only $140 but after i paid parking fees of $48 it’s way dearer. ☹️☹️☹️

My friends and I had a great stay here. We booked the room for 4 person and to our surprise it has its own balcony 😲 Sad that we were only able to book it for a night. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient, Clean, Simple

On our entire trip, Queenstown was the one place that felt touristy. It's a backpackers haven, with a condensed town filled with food, activities, and people. As such, a great option for lodging is the YHA Queenstown Central, party of the YHA New Zealand group. They offer perks for worldwide members, so be sure to ask. This facility is nicer than a typical hostel, with private room and private bathroom options. Once you get past the checkin desk and sparse lobby, it feels like a hotel. Our room was clean, and even had a view of the lake. The restroom was spacious and very modern. There isn't much in the way of amenities here, it's just a cheap, safe, and clean place to stay. They do not have elevators, so be ready to carry your luggage. We had some issues with noise as our room was below the common kitchen area, which despite being closed, was cleaned early morning. More than anything, this place is convenient to everything worth doing in town. For people venturing outside of the town, Uber is the easiest bet. There airport shuttles to/from the Frankton Airport just a 15 minute drive down the road. The Skyline is also just a quick walk away. We'd stay here again!

Queenstown est une ville où se garer est quasi impossible ! Le site annonce "parking gratuit dans la rue", ok, mais il n'y a pas de place et on tourne longtemps pour trouver quelque chose. Sinon, l'auberge de jeunesse est bien. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée. Le bruit est un autre problème de l'endroit, aussi bien celui de dehors que celui des guests... Staff très sympathique.

The staff were very friendly. Met some amazing people at my dorm. I did have a small hiccup in which I forgot the door code and called the emergency number but no one was picking up and ended up freezing outside for 2 hours. But overall, I would highly recommend travellers and students coming here again. Really good location to everywhere!

Staff is friendly and helpful. The common room view is spectacular. The bed, however, is time to change (become too soft in the middle) and there is no free locker provided inside the room.

繁華街に近くて便利。個室でしたが、清掃が行き届いていて綺麗だった。 アメニティや設備などに秀でたものがあるわけではないので、泊まるだけ と考えれば立地も良く快適。 滞在時にこのホテルを含む街の一区画が停電したが、フロントはできる限りの 対応をしてくれて頑張っていた。

街の中心にあり、町歩きにはとても便利でした ただ、レンタカー利用だったので、駐車場に困りました 【近隣に無料駐車場あり】との事ですが、 少し離れた所にある無料で停めることが可能な路上駐車のことでした ハイシーズンだったので、路上駐車も無料の所はいっぱいで かなり離れたところに停めたり、近くの有料駐車場に停めました 建物が古めで、階段なので、スーツケースの移動が大変でした このお値段で、街のど真ん中のホテルなので、仕方ないのかな…
