"Overall excellent. Only (minor) problem was that the first night was pretty cold, and there was no heat in the room. The second night the host provided a ceramic electric heater and that made the cabin very cosy."

"We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. "

"From the picture, the property is actually smaller, there is no bbq grill so cooking becomes a problem if you want to cook meet.
The running water was turned on hours after we arrived, and no Hot water at all. Makes taking a shower on rainy days a drag. Not enough pillows or the proper kitchen utensils. And trash was not picked enough, because I was told to put it under the house when full, so wild stray dogs would tear into the bags and drag trash all over yard. They need to get lidded trash...

"Loved this property. We had an ocean view room on the 2nd floor in building 3. The property is small and on a steep incline, but has everything you need. They have a small store, a pool with outdoor bar, outdoor restaurant, and walkway to the beach. Walk to beach is about 5 minutes and steep. Wear shoes. Due to the incline the property sits on, golf carts are available to drive you from your room to pool/restaurant, though its only about 20 yards. We walked each time with no problems. Included breakfast offered a great variety of foods and tasted great. All staff, except one parking lot attendant, was exceptional and went above and beyond. Sydney at the restaurant and bar made our stay fantastic! He was the best! View of ocean and mountains from pool and restaurant is beautiful. Monkeys and birds seen multiple times a day. "
"Overall it was underwhelming. The photos make it appear much nicer than it really is. Quite rundown in areas, and virtually no frills in the bar or restaurant area. Food quality was decent - sushi was the best thing we ate. Overall it seems like it was an updated resort back in the day but has not been kept up.
The serving staff in the restaurant and bar were lovely. "
"Had an awesome view of rainforest from the room. Saw Tucan birds and monkeys from the room. The location is awesome with a 360 degree view from the top of the rainforest, mountains. Got to see beautiful sunrise and sunset. Restaurant and bar was nice as well. Highly recommend."
"Great staff, the hotel is in good conditions and they offer a very delicious breakfast. Pools are clean and location is very convenient about 3min walk from a grocery store! "
"The Ocean view from my balcony was great. I also had view of the pool. Breakfast was included... it was delicious. The only challenge is walking up the hill from the beach area. Everything else is great!!!"
"There was a very short walk to a beautiful beach. Staff were friendly. There was a dehumidifier in the bathroom and after showering the bathroom was dry in about an hour!! I’ve never seen that before in a humid climate. It was odd that there were no hand towels, but that’s my only suggestion. We would absolutely stay there again. "
"We had an excellent stay at Costa Verde. Our room was absolutely stunning with a very large balcony and large windows overlooking the ocean. We could hear the ocean waves and every morning we got up at 5:30 in the morning to listen to the birds and enjoy the sunrise. The family suite that we had was clean and beds were very comfortable, and the costa verde grounds had several very nice restaurants with free shuttle transportation offered to the restaurants because of the fact that the property was large with a winding road that made walking even short distances sometimes challenging. There was a very nice pool. The staff in the office were absolutely amazing and Alejandro in particular was extremely helpful in arranging for some daily tours and shuttle transportation for the end of our trip. This location itself is next to the park and there are monkeys and sloths living on the property that you can see from the restaurants or when walking around on the grounds. It is also very close to the beach, although the winding road and the steep hill makes it hard to walk to the beach. There is a convenient bus that you can ride that costs only one dollar and runs every 25 minutes. Would definitely stay at this property again and would highly recommend for others."
