📝 House Rules

1. Signed rental agreement with names, ages, and photo ID required within 24 hours. Primary renter must be 25+. No unregistered guests at any time.
2. $500 security deposit hold + $37 one-time admin fee required. Quiet hours strictly enforced: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
3. Guests are responsible for locking all doors and windows when leaving the villa — safeguarding its contents and personal items.
4. Costa Rica may experience temporary power outages during heavy rain storms. This is not unusual and typically lasts a few minutes to a couple of hours. Emergency flashlights are provided throughout the house. No refunds are given for acts of God.
5. The home is open air except for the bedrooms which have AC. Bedroom doors must remain closed when AC is running. AC should not be left on in unoccupied rooms.
6. Third-party travel insurance is required to cover any cancellations outside our cancellation policy.
7. No pets, smoking, loud music, commercial photography, parties, or events.
8. Guest verification through Truvi required prior to arrival. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text — please complete before arriving for a quick and easy check-in.
9. Check-in: 3:00 PM — Check-out: 10:00 AM.

⚠️ Important Information

• Air conditioning: Bedrooms only. Keep bedroom doors closed when AC is running and turn it off when the room is unoccupied. Social areas are open air.
• Power outages: Temporary outages may occur during heavy rain — normal for Costa Rica. Emergency flashlights provided.
• Security cameras: Cameras cover the parking area, main entrance, and gardens only.

Our property is located in a natural jungle setting. Guests may encounter insects (ants, mosquitoes, spiders) and native wildlife (lizards, snakes, and other animals). We take precautions to minimize such encounters, but interactions with local flora and fauna are part of the authentic Costa Rican experience.

🧹 On-Site Housekeeper (Monday–Saturday)

A professional housekeeper is on-site Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, for routine cleaning, laundry, and property operations. Guests should expect staff presence during these hours. Privacy is always respected.
