This is my second day. I always appreciate how nice the staff is. There’s a beautiful view to the ocean. It’s very clean and most of all the prices are reasonable.

We stayed in the two-bedroom villa. It was a little difficult getting to at first but it worked out. We had an enjoyable stay. The staff were great and the restaurant/bar was a good option for convenience, if nothing else. The road up is a bit challenging by U.S. standards but we had a 4X4 SUV. I honestly do not know how anybody drives a sedan. With all the potholes and dirt roads, you would tear up your car. We would stay again at this property.

The view was amazing, 20 miles of Pacific coastline. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the food for every meal was delicious. The hotel has its own organic farm to source the ingredients for the meals. Note that there is no TV, closet, or place to hang clothes, a factor to consider if you stay long term as I did. The music played at the pool was usually louder than necessary but turned down during meals. (If you call it an ecohotel, you should not be using leaf blowers!) A good location just out of town and not far from the park - take the bus, it's cheap, easy, and convenient, stops just at the bottom of the hill.

We traveled as a family in this trip to Quepos. During our stay, the highlight of this hotel was the staff and the food. The staff were very friendly and attentive, we felt we were very welcome there. And the food and drinks were very good! The hotel has plenty of parking space and trees around, so there were butterflies, birds. The ambiance was nice, it was very quiet, and workers kept the property clean. Google map shows the location, so not difficult to find. What disappointing us was the shower water - the hot water came out unstable, sometimes was cold while it was supposed to be hot, so we had to wait for about one to two minutes to get the hot water to come back again, and then after one to two minutes of hot water, the water becomes cold again. In general, this place is ok to stay.

We booked it last minute as our flight got rescheduled. But it turned out to be a surprise! The room is spacious and very clean. Plenty of natural day light. The swimming pool is very nice for kids. The view is fantastic. The breakfast buffet is generous. The front desk staff is friendly. We loved everything about this hotel. Only minor thing I can think of is that the internet connection inside the room can be spotty--you may need to get close to the front door or outside balcony. But hey we're there for vacation, who needs to stick to the phone all the time? Overall I highly recommend it!

Since the beginning it was a great experience. The welcome was nice, it was a fast check-in, we received a tropical fruit juice as welcome. The people had a great attitude and service during all the stay. We had a great experience as a family, we will be back.

It is a nice place to stay for Manuel Antonio. The staff are super nice and helpful. The bar tender Kevin is awesome. The only downside of this place is that the restaurant only opens on weekends for this season.

The street going up tot he hotel is unpaved and almost impossible to go up and down with any car, wish they pave it. you can hear the noise in the room from all the outside surroundings, wish there was a TV in the room or speaker for radio or to play music.

The ocean views are amazing. Staff were helpful and friendly, specially the front desk receptionist Annie. Rooms are roomy, quiet, clean, and the bathroom area immaculate, but the view from the room's balcony is beautiful and relaxing. Internet is fast and reliable, though no TV in the room, but there is a mini fridge. There is a swimming pool, and a nice eating area. The way to get to the hotel is easier if using Google Maps (it was for me), the hotel in GPS appears as Hotel California, but the hotel name is Planeta Sano Eco Lodge. Not sure it is accessible by bus, but definitely need a vehicle to get there.

We went during low season and were the only guests.  Their building and pool were well maintetained.  However, the biggest issue we had was not having a constant water supply in the bathroom.  2 out of 4 days, we had no water.  We notifiy the front desk in the morning, but the water was still not back when we came back later on the day. it is fixed in the evening but out again next morning.  This made our schedule very difficult as we have early activities planned and would like to take a shower as soon as we are back from the beach.  The manager never came to apologize nor compensated anything like a dinner or a drink for our inconvenience.  In addition, the electricity current is not constant.  Our electronic products heats up after plugged in for a while.  This usually does not happen in other hotels.  As pointed out by other guests, the small alley up to the hotel is narrow, steep, and rocky.  I would not recommend this location without a SUV.  The intersection to turn into this alley is also at a turning point of the mountain's winding road.  There is no mirror at the intersection.  So it is pretty dangerous not to be able to see cars coming up the hill. The good side is the view of the beach from the balcony, clean room and pool.  if they have a TV in the room that will be great especially during raining season (as there is no where to go) Mainly due to the irregular water supplier, I would not recommend this hotel.
