The AUGMAR

Nice sea cottage completely redone, the absolute calm.

Located in the town of QUETTEHOU, at the place called Le Rivage, 40 m from the beach and the sea, you will enjoy an exceptional setting and a view of the Fort HOUGUE and the many oyster beds.

In this haven of peace, you will enjoy:

The Augmar, so close to the most beautiful seashore.

My family and I were so impressed with the area, 'The Augmar' was beautifully situated, the house was well equipped, every thought had been put into making our stay comfortable and memorable, I would have no hesitation in recommending the place to anyone for a short or long stay, I am sure we will return.. Communication with the owner Mr Ducard was first class.

Gîte très bien situé et équipé, la mer à 20m avec une très belle vue sur l'île de Tatihou et à marée basse la pêche aux couteaux est facile. Un excellent séjour dans une région où l'histoire s'est écrite grandement.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans ce logement très propre, moderne, bien équipé au niveau des ustensiles de cuisine en particulier. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la terrasse, très lumineuse. Le quartier était très calme, idéal pour se reposer. Il est très bien situé, proche de Cherbourg, des plages du débarquement... My second stay at this property..

I have stayed at several houses in France over the last 10 years, ‘The Augmar ‘ is by far the nicest.. Situated in a most beautiful place, the house had everything needed for a comfortable stay, nicely furnished to a very high standard, just a short drive from Cherbourg which was so convenient, in fact my journey from my home to the house was just 1.5 hours driving, not including the very pleasant 4 hour crossing with Brittany Ferries. Good communication with Mr Ducard. I would be more than happy to recommend any of my friends to the property. David Ball
