"A very useful hotel as a stopover to or from Bilbao as it has 24 hr reception and large on site free car park.Easy to find location and good value and quite spacious standard rooms.Bathroom had a small but convenient bathtub plus hairdryer.Small point, the bed linen and towels although clean and in good condition had a strong smell possibly the detergent used?"

"It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. Evening meals were standard but we both had cheese omelette and chips, which were delicious. Our two small dogs enjoyed the room as well. One small downside is that the GPS took us down some country lanes, some unmade, whereas there was a much more direct route. Not the fault of the owners though."

"This hotel was an amazing find in the Rioja region. Lovingly renovated by the owners, the property offered a tour, a video of the renovation work showing before and after, a wine tasting in the cellar and an amazing dinner option on the outside terrace.
