"The room itself was clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell far below expectations. Aside from the concierge at arrival—whose name I believe was Danilo—who was professional and welcoming, the rest of the staff displayed a concerning lack of professionalism and customer service. Interactions with bartenders and other team members were consistently unpleasant and, at times, outright rude. The food quality was also very poor, which further impacted our stay. More concerning, there were guests openly selling marijuana by the pool in the presence of families and children, which created an uncomfortable and inappropriate environment. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. I hope this feedback helps management address these issues and assists other travelers in making informed decisions when considering accommodations in Boca Chica. Regrettably, I would not choose to stay here again."

"My stay was fairly manageable. While I didn't enjoy the cocktails, which seemed to be made quite cheaply, and the food could have been better, most of the staff were nice. However, I noticed that the buffet area lacked properly set tables, requiring guests to wait for a server to bring utensils. Additionally, I observed one staff member who appeared to be more focused on flirting than on serving guests. Other than that I had a good stay."

"The bar was stoked and the air-conditioning was very cold. I had to turn off and get a blanket. Most of the staff are not people or service friendly. A few that stood out were Ana in the buffet, Alejandro in the timeshare area, Elias that took us over to the timeshare, the young lady that served us in the "reserved"outside timeshare bar area. Our daughter was ill 2/2 water contamination and was limited on what she could eat as she was bedridden.There was minimal help in getting food to her from the folks in charge. Room service was not available on several occasions to bring food to her. Our VIP status meant nothing. "

"I had the most amazing time at Casa Hemingway. This was exactly what I had envisioned. I traveled with my son on our first solo trip ever. As a solo parent, this means everything. I felt safe walking throughout the property. The staff ensured that when I was walking at night the next staff member was ready to receive me to get to my destination. Thank you! We were able to disconnect from our daily lives and felt safe doing so. "

"Majority of the staff was very nice and accommodating especially since we did not speak Spanish. Most speak only Spanish but tried to understand. Be prepared for a lot of cigarette/cigar smoke everywhere especially at the beach "

"It was very easy and quick to check in. Also, they have parking spots on the front of the hotel with security 24/7. It was easy and safe to park. "
