My spacious room was on the 4th floor, very quiet and clean with complimentary coffee and water.
The bed and pillows were really comfortable too. I would definitely recommend and be returning. "
"Excellent stay only 20 mins drive from the historic town of Guimaraes. We had a beautiful double room with a fantasic view down into the valley. The gardens are beautiful, breakfast includes fresh orange juice from the orange trees in the garden. Claudino is very generous with his time and knowledge. "
"First stay in a hostel and it beat expectations. Had private washrooms and shared kitchen. Other residents were great. in that they made room in the fridge for some of our stuff and were nice and pleasant to a couple of old travelers. Safe and Clean, Perfect for passing through"

"I arrived at the hotel from the Campanha station, and it was an uphill climb. Vonce at the front desk gave me several tips how to navigate the steep hills, by using an alternate way. This was without me having to ask. He was very helpful and made my stay enjoyable. Room was clean and comfortable, Breakfast had a wide variety to choose from. Would stay again."

"Wow!!! This old Palace turned hotel is amazing!!! The service was above first class in all areas. Property was lovely. Breakfast was huge and delicious. We did order a late afternoon meal at the bar area because the restaurant didn’t open til 7:30. we ordered hamburger with fries but it came with chips and we ordered the salad with out chicken. They sent to chicken which was very dry. Loved to walk along the water. We took a 1/2 day private tour of Porto highlights which was excellent "
