"Very nice English influenced clean house. Big garden with all the privacy. Private parking just next to the house. We had very nice chats with the owner. Because of a bit rainy weather sometimes we didn't use the swimming pool much, but the pool was very big and nice to swim in. Thanks Chris and Gill for this lovely week!"

"Tout est conforme aux photos, la maison est vraiment grande et tres propre. Le jardin est top et bien entretenu. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances. Le propriétaire est adorable! Il nous a accueilli avec des petites attentions: oeufs frais, vin, jus: quel accueil ! "

"Nous avons été ravis de séjourner dans la maison de Jack. La piscine est un rêve. La maison est grande et permet à chacun d'avoir son espace. La cuisine est bien équipée avec des couteaux qui coupent ! Le jardin est beau, grand et bien entretenu. Avec en plus, un hôte fort sympathique et réactif. "

"Restored farm house in the countryside in a farming area at the foot of the Pyrennees, very quiet and surrounded by farming area, saw a fox, many birds of prey, and some deer. Close to golf courses and famous TdF cycling routes (about 15 minutes by car). Wifi works well, hosts were very friendly and helpful. About 15 minutes from shops, restaurants etc. we enjoyed our stay, far away from the crazy world!"

"The property, the views and the host were simply superb. It's the perfect location for just sitting and staring out over the valley below to the Pic du Midi de Bigorre in the distance OR as a base camp for great bike rides, hikes and marché hopping. The only warning, applicable mainly to US visitors, is that you are expected to bring your own bed sheets and towels. Highly recommend; we hope to return soon!"

"We wanted accommodation that had easy access to the mountains but also had a swimming pool. A view of the mountains was essential. This gite ticked all the boxes and we had a fabulous holiday. I agree with all the other reviews; the views, our hosts, the facilities and the cleanliness were all spot on. "Stayed 4 nights at Saint Sever des Pyrenees and had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Kirsten, Anthony and Scoobie the dog are great hosts - very welcoming, easy going and knowledgeable about the local area and beyond. Located on the edge of a small attractive village surrounded by a beautiful landscape, views to the Pyrenees from your bedroom window, it really is a special spot. There is also a train station a short drive away for exploring the stunning city of Toulouse. Really is a relaxing...

"We had a peaceful and enjoyable stay at this property. The kitchen has all the necessary items to prepare meals and the place is comfortably furnished. The pool is a great feature during a July heatwave. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. We were 4 adults in the area to attend Marciac Jazz Festival and Tempo Latino Festival and the property was conveniently located for doing both."

"We were met by Kay and Neil and made to feel very welcome. The property was just as described and Kay had left us some provisions such as milk butter etc. The gite is very well situated to explore the region, and is a 20 minute walk into the village of Madiran, which has 2 restaurants and a boulangerie. Neil was always on hand to help us out with any questions and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice relaxing, peaceful holiday. Jim Relph."

"Booked for 3 nights. Left after 2 as soon as we could get booked in elsewhere. I understand it’s “budget” but the rooms are more like prison sells. The bathroom was filthy, mould all around the edges, brown splats up the door. Door was falling apart at the bottom. It was 25° when we stayed and the aircon wasn’t working. It was unbearable in the room. We kept trying to catch someone on reception and every time we went down no one was around. If you are booking a family room with bunk bed, be prepared you will need to set this up and put the sheets on. The only thing that I would say was a good point was that the car park was secure. The town has very little in it, so it’s all fast food outlets."
