"It's been bought by a development group and they seem to be renovating for more of a High Hampton or Blackberry Farm vibe. Adding a 3 story hotel and such. Hope it doesn't mean prices are going to skyrocket as Dillard House has always been a great value. Super nice staff."

"This house and property are stunning. We had a wonderful stay. We had a small issue at check in and the owner (and her crew) were quick to resolve it. Great communication with the owner. My family and our friends spent the majority of our stay at the house because there was a lot to do onsite (including reading, cooking, hiking, playing in the creek, fire pit, hot tub, relaxing). However, we did spend a day in downtown Franklin and had fun. I have no doubt that my family and I will return. Thanks, Kathy, for sharing your amazing rental with us! "

"We have stayed here before and love it. So we booked again. Helpful and friendly staff. Hot breakfast is pouched eggs and sausage along with waffles etc…. Indoor pool is heated and it felt amazing even though it wax warm outside. Will stay again! "

"The atmosphere at this lodge was peaceful and restful. We spent a lot of time in the rocking chairs on the patio looking out at the lake. The breakfast was adequate, with gluten free options that were a welcome surprise. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Some of the details in the room could be updated, specifically the balcony/bathroom door handles and the bathroom flooring that was cracked and moved when you stepped on the tiles. "
