Monsieur , je suis étonné que vous ayez pu noter notre hébergement puisque votre heure d'arrivé prévue etait bien trop tardive ( après minuit ) Nous n'avons donc pas pu vous recevoir et nous vous avons conseillé de prévoir un autre hébergement Comme précisé dans notre page les heures d'arrivée normale sont entre 16h et 19h , n'ayant pas de service de nuit cordialement

Stunning house
Stunning build very tastefully and comfortably furnished. Hosts very friendly and accommodating. This was a little treat for us at the end of a week in France and it didn't disappoint.

It felt like we were staying on the set of a historical movie- loved the huge open castle room. Felt like a really special experience. The breakfast was wonderful- delicious baked goods

As good as it looks
Usually, when something looks too good to be true, it is true. However, in this case our stay exceeded expectations. Great room in an authentic chateau, with a superb continental breakfast included. This was served in the old chateau kitchen, with an open fire and beautiful environment. Highly recommended.

The place was beautiful and we loved staying there. The host was very nice. The breakfast was great and it felt authentic and home made. I loved and will definitely stay again if I return to the area :)

Amazing place
Amazing place. Stunning castle and grounds. Almost hard to believe that it's available to the public. The owners/hosts are helpful and pleasant. Two minor inconveniences that are dwarfed by the incredible chateau experience: there's not much nearby and the WiFi and cell service is not great if you happen to need those things. But if you're seeking a break from technology and the trappings of modern life, this is a fantastic place to get away.

Absolutely gorgeous chateau with a very kind and amiable host who explained everything very well and gave us a great recommendation for dinner in town. I always follow the hosts’ recommendations; they know best! The breakfast was lovely, with delicious ripe fruit and fresh croissants.

It was like walking into a different more beautiful century. Rivalled a movie set for a fairy tale. Just lovely and incredible. My favourite was the option to rent Louis the xiv bedroom. We did not want to leave! Sylvie and Alain were charming and attentive hosts.

This has to be the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! Château de Bonnemare is a grand, historic property in a gorgeous setting. We stayed in the Louis XVI suite - huge, light-filled rooms with perfect 18th century decor and stunning views of the both the front and back of the property. Sylvie and Alain were wonderful hosts, offering lots of information on the area, a delicious breakfast (complete with local cheese) and a fascinating tour of the property.

Beautiful place
This is a beautiful place in a lovely setting. Our room and bathroom were superb. Breakfast was excellent and our hosts were attentive and helpful without ever being intrusive. Despite the claim of free WIFI there was, however, no WIFI.

I am sorry that you could not benefit from WIFI; indeed we had to modify our internet installation to have WIFI in the whole domain. You came to Bonnemare during this change and the implementation was not easy and may have been some days off; I apologize for that Sincerely

We had a lovely stay overnight, our room upgraded by the owners, great surprise thank you and a lovely family..... the bottle of wine was very good would love to get the details of that bottle, breakfast was very sociable with other guests. Great experience, amazing Chateau, fantastic family thank you for looking after us.

Charming very old chateau. Very nice people own the hotel trying very hard to maintain the history. Beautiful grounds with walking paths. There are no restaurants but some very good ones about 15 min away be car. A great place to stop if you are driving to the D Day beaches after a long flight.

A great overnight stop-off location
Spectacular B&B - as you can see from their photos. We stopped off here on the way down to the south of France. It was convenient for a day trip to Monet's house in Giverny. Friendly owners and nice breakfast. The room we stayed in was lovely, in the gatehouse away from the main building. WiFi didn't reach that far - probably because of all the thick stone walls.

A beautiful getaway in the countryside of Normandy
A beautiful getaway in the countryside of Normandy! The drive up to the chateau is the most breathtaking - with the beautiful tree-lined street. Our room was very spacious and beautiful!! There are trails on the grounds to walk and some nice restaurants nearby. Some beautiful sightseeing to do within a 30 minute drive. The breakfast was lovely with fresh pastries, bread and local cheese and yogurt. My only complaint was the comfort level as there was no AC (typical of Europe though), but it was so hot and very hard to sleep. Would have been nice to have a fan or something. One other thing that could have been improved upon is access to the owners when you need something. They live on the grounds, but It was hard to find them when we needed something and no clear instruction of how to get in touch. I emailed a few times during our stay about dinner reservations, etc and didn't get a reply until we saw them the next morning in person. The internet went out and we tried to find them to help fix it, but after an hour or so we ended up fixing it ourselves (since we found the router was in our room). Would be nice to be able to get in touch with them while there! They were so so nice though but I think we may have just come at a time when they were busy.

Beautiful way to step back in time
This property is amazing ! You just can't find these types of places in the USA. The decor and furnishings were beautiful and reflect the period of the house. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The staff were very helpful with dinner reservations in town.

Probably the world’s most sumptuous bed and breakfast, the chateau is beautifully restored and outfitted with an assortment of antiques and contemporary fittings. The owners are wonderfully welcoming and really went out of their way to make my short stay memorable

Overwhelmingly fantastic!
For us who are not used to live in castles and chateaus of any kind: WOW, what an amazing experience!!! Just such a wonderful place, with a spirit of history! It is kind of a little bit out of the way of any major attractions, but it is totally worth it to spend some nights there! The interior is very nice and the service is fantastic! The family that ownes the place, also runs it. The lady of the house offers her homemade jams (from the fruits from the garden) and pies for breakfast, and they also serve some local produce. We could also use the porch, walk around the property and feel the spirit of the epoques this house had seen. What a great memory!

Nous avons passé une nuit tres agréable dans ce lieu paisible et historique. L'endroit est magnifique et très bien entretenu par les propriétaires. Un accueil chaleureux, et un petit-déjeuner généreux servi dans une vaisselle fine. Un joli voyage dans l'histoire et le patrimoine du Vexin Normand à la française.
