"If you are looking for a rustic, relaxing, quiet stay to unwind and breath in the crisp, clean mountain air, then you NEED to stay here! The beds are comfy, the cabin is rustic and warm. The front porch looks over the water and when you wake up in the morning and the sun is streaming into the windows, you make a cup of coffee and then stroll out onto the porch to sit and take in all the sounds of the woods around you while gazing out over the view and you sink into your chair and just breath in and realize how beautiful this world is! This is the place to do that! We stayed and visited Lake Placid and then the Wild Center and it was the perfect spot to unwind after. Check-in and out was a breeze and communication was wonderful. Would stay here again for sure! Thank you! :)"

"We enjoyed our two-night stay. The cabin and its setting were beautiful. The furnishings were comfortable, and the host was very generous in supplying essential supplies...especially firewood. The fall colors were nearly at peak. It was an easy drive to Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, and other beautiful spots in the Adirondacks. It was a great visit and we were sad when it was time to go home. The online information provided was both helpful and entertaining...made us look forward to our stay."

"I needed a place to stay a night for a work trip and found this spot. I loved it so much that I am trying to plan a time to come back for leisure and relaxing by a stream. Really cool spot and the accommodations are perfect."

"Amazingly cute little cabin with a stone fireplace. So cozy and welcoming. Small but well defined areas made it very comfortable. Loved personal little touches like handwritten notes on how to work the TV, cleanup and welcome. Amazingly sweet porch with a “Welcome Gnome”, lights and chairs to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. We were there in the rain which added its own charm but in the summer I bet the fire pits are magical. Would definitely love to stay here again and for longer!!!!"
