"Astir was literally across the street from the ocean. I did not have a full ocean view from my room, but I could see it from my balcony on the side of the building. It was a single room, so the bathroom was small, but the bed was comfortable. It was a lovely room for the price. The staff were very nice and friendly. There was a bar open in the afternoon/evening with a wonderful view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again. "

"The owner and his family are soectacular. Their kindness, friendliness, and help. I can not say enough good about them. Is the hotel an aging beuty. Yes. But the love and care more than make up for drapes that are a bit dated. The room was a one bedroom apartment with a front balcony and back terrace(sea view). Patking is easy. Lots of restaurants to choose from, including the hotel. I look forward to returning(many times)and bringing friends and family. For me, it was that special."

"Wonderful family run hotel. Nice sea view quiet and also the breakfast buffet was nice and fresh with a few food items even marmalades, homemade. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and made our stay enjoyable. It was located within five minutes by car from downtown Poros and the Ship Marina were most of the ships come and go to mainland. Nice tourist shops restaurants, mini-market and bakery/Patisserie that make coffee, bread, sweets and their own ice cream."

"Communication with the owners was brilliant. They gave us all the details pre arrival and asked that we let them know when we departed from the airport. When we arrived, they were waiting for us at the door with big smiles, ready to show us our apartment. Throughout the stay they kept us informed about local events and also when they were coming to do the housekeeping, asking what time best suited us! The apartment was spotless, as were the stairs and lobby. There were also parasols and air beds for us to take and use, which was a nice touch. A perfect location, with a patisserie, bakery and multiple restaurants close at hand. It was also good to travel elsewhere from - there were ferries over to the mainland as well as boat trips to the local islands. All in all a perfect example how a private apartment building should be run - would highly recommend!"

"We came to the Anantazia hotel for a brief break in a train trip around Europe. As a result, we spent a lot of time by the lovely and well located pool. Anastazia and Andreas were incredibly helpful and courteous and the breakfast was wonderful. Our room was spacious with a veranda and sea view. Just lovely! We can’t wait to come back."
