"We were disappointed that the refrigerator froze everything we put in it. Absolutely ruined a 1-pound package of strawberries that we placed on the bottom shelf. We didn’t realize until too late how cold it was. The only other drawback was that people were smoking very close to our room (144)."

"Great location! My boyfriend and I were in town to see the best local Bay Area theater, the Imaginists which is located around the corner from the motel. We also had a wonderful breakfast across the street at the Parkside Café, which you can walk to as well. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was beautifully decorated and spacious. I definitely recommend staying here.! "

"The rooms are quaint and comfortable but need some updating. We really enjoyed the vintage flavor of this 1907 hotel. There is a wonderful deli/restaurant attached/next to the hotel that you will want to try out. "

"Breakfast was nice. Rooms were nice & clean and air conditioning was pretty quiet. I do have one safety concern.in the bathroom, being as there is a shower curtain there is nothing to hold on to when showering and the tub gets very slippery when soaping up so a grab bar would help."
