"Jan was very welcoming.We stayed for 2 nights. The apartment we stayed in was spacious, clean and warm. The bed was very comfortable. There is all you need in the kitchen to self cater if you want to. Harrogate centre is within walking distance - we didnt use our car during our stay. I would completely recommend staying here. "

"Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space."

Lovely place to stay in a lovely area.

"We only stayed one night, but we found the hotel to be inan excellent location to enjoy a beautiful evening in Harrogate. The hotel is a classic old grand hotel with all the charm you would expect from such a place. It has all the lovely touches you need and it is such a refreshing difference from the modern quite sterile luxury chains. To top it off we had a lovely day in Knaresborough just a few minutes drive away the next day and i definitely see us coming back to the area and this hotel."
