"It's a nice traditional place, very well located in the old town. Very clean but not very modern, and with a shower-in-tub arrangement that was difficult to deal with and felt quite dangerous. Absolutely lovely breakfast room and excellent breakfast. Very good food and huge portions in the hotel restaurant. No English TV at all, not even CNN or BBC, so that was a disappointment, "

"Wir waren absolut begeistert von der Wohnung! Sie ist sehr gemütlich, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet – alles ist bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht, damit man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. In der Küche gibt es alles, was man zum Kochen braucht, die Betten sind bequem, und es gibt frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Die Lage ist hervorragend – es ruhig und angenehm. Das WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei, und die Wohnung ist hell und freundlich. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an die Gastgeber für ihre Gastfreundschaft und Aufmerksamkeit: Die Kommunikation war sehr angenehm, Check-in und Check-out verliefen völlig problemlos. "A comfortable and newly updated hotel. The owner was personable and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant holiday. They have an excellent breakfast that you shouldn’t skip. It was a fairly easy walk to the Market Square as well as all of the historic sights of Meißen. Also close to the train station for a day trip to Dresden and the Schloss Wackerbarth winery. "

"Very comfortable and clean hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We used this more remote hotel as a central point between Dresden and Leipzig. So nice to stay outside of the busyness of the city. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The staff were spectacular -very helpful and kind. Room was clean, and modern. Lobby was nice. Easy walk to town and train station with a small grocery store at the other end of the parking lot. Shower was not easy to climb into and wouldn’t work for tall people. Also, the temperature control was confusing and didn’t seem to change the temperature no matter how we changed it. Still- I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it."
