"We had a great stay at Villa Dolina. The room was large and comfortable. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and the food was plentiful and delicious. The hotel is in a very quiet area with beautiful scenery and surroindings. The canine mascot, Dambo, was so much fun to play with and made the stay more enjoyable. We can’t say enough positives about Villa Dolina. Thank you Branimir (our wonderful host)!"

"The property has very nice location with perfect view to forest. The owners are so kind and open so you feel their energy right away and they touched you as they are doing that with all their hearts. The food was delicious from farms in neighborhood and prepared with tadte. Delicious home made Jogurt and juices was just for start. If someone what to escape from daily stress and want to enjoy in peace that the place."

"Homely Stay with Beautiful Sunrise We had a wonderful stay! The host welcomed us personally and even baked fresh muffins for us. The apartment was spotless, modern, and very comfortable for our family of four. The bedsheets were incredibly soft, and both the bed and sofa bed were cozy. We loved the beautiful sunrise views, scenic running routes, and nearby amenities. It was 5 mins drive from Lake Plitvice Entrance 1. Overall, a relaxing and homely stay."

Degenija Boutique Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good

"We had a nice stay overall, with a few things worth noting. The hotel has excellent amenities. The pool is very nice, although not heated, and the gym is excellent. There is also a pool bar and a playroom, although the latter could use some updating. The location is very convenient, with Plum and Degenija restaurants within a 100-meter walk. Plum is slightly more expensive but offers more personalized service and, in our opinion, tastier food. Degenija is more fast-paced and less personalized, but cheaper and more kid-friendly. We stayed in the Comfort Double Room with Terrace and Private Jacuzzi. The room was comfortable and clean, and the jacuzzi was spotless. Unfortunately, the view was disappointing. Our room was near the garbage area and parking lot, and being on a lower floor meant the view was mostly rocks and plants—not really a garden view. The other guests were quiet and polite, making for a peaceful stay. We had little interaction with guest services. We did call the front desk to change our Degenija reservation from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. When we arrived, the restaurant still had us booked for 8:00 PM, but they accommodated us without issue. The receptionist seemed rather nonchalant about the mix-up. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the amenities, room, private jacuzzi, peaceful atmosphere, and convenient location. The main downside was the room's view."

"Hotel is a great find in the Plitvice lakes area. It is modern, clean and feels Nordic. There is an indoor pool and small gym. It is a 10 minute ride to the park and cost 20 euros each way. It also included a fantastic buffet breakfast. They also have a restaurant on site for dinner which was basic. This hotel is a great value."

"Our stay at Apartment Buric was a very enjoyable experience from start to finish. Our host Zivan was super friendly, really attentive to our requirements and very customer focused. We couldn’t have asked for a better welcome upon our arrival and how we were looked after during our stay. There was ample parking at the residence and the apartment itself was extremely clean, stylish , spacious and well appointed. We had a fantastic view out over the nearby mountains of Plitvice with a full outdoor seating area including a divid double swing chair. The dinner menu plus the breakfast choices on offer were excellent and very reasonable. Breakfast was included with our rate and there was a great selection available. We enjoyed it so much and the hospitality there we did actually enquire if there was any availability for a further nights stay there after we visited Plitvice lakes for the following day but unfortunately they were fully booked but not surprisingly really considering how good the accommodation and food are set up. We would highly recommend Apartment Buric to who was considering a stay in the local area. They were an ideal location to explore the local area and visit the national park of Plitvice lakes with key areas within close reach."

Wooden house as a family paradise

"The hosts were very welcoming and ensured our arrival went smoothly. We were a group of 5, with 2 cars. Plenty of space for all.The home is actually 3 separate units. It was fine for us - 4 adults and one 20 yr old. The main unit had a full size refrigerator and well stocked kitchen.One minor issue was we seemed to trip the power with our demand on electricity - phones, hair dryer, and AC units running seemed to overload the demand. The hosts quickly restored power and we adjusted our power usage.The location is ideal for visiting Plitvice National Park. Very close to grocery and Noah’s Bakery(very good)! Ours hosts recommended Deganje for great local dishes - portions were generous and reasonably priced."
