This property is close to many businesses, which can be a plus, but parking is an issue. There is limited parking in front of the hotel, and the "garage" parking under the hotel has space for few vehicles, but if they are full, then you have to park in an unlit parking lot behind the hotel. We were verbally assaulted in the dark by another guest as we parked in the back, causing us to feel unsafe. When we let the nighttime hotel staff on duty know, they were not concerned or helpful.
When we got to our room, there was a terrible smell like unwashed feet combined with body odor. It was terrible!
The bed seemed fine, and the appliances worked. The bathroom and shower were fine, but the shower curtain was stained and the floors in the bathroom and the bedroom were greasy to the touch. We were told that there were no other rooms available and that they couldn't do anything.
The dining area on the first floor was clean and open with comfortable chairs when we had breakfast in the morning. Breakfast is what you would expect, a serve-yourself breakfast bar with eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal and make-your-own-waffles. The Coffee/Tea machine was outside of the dining room, weirdly.
This is the second time we stayed at this hotel, and we were hoping that this time would be better than last time, since it is so close to family in the area. We will definitely be looking for a different place to stay next time.
