Beautiful 4 BR Home, 15 min Walk to Downtown
Beautifully designed and renovated, this modern large house is 2000 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It includes an updated modern kitchen, stylish living room, huge walk in shower in primary bath, and a sunroom used as a bedroom as well as a 2nd living room. The backyard is fenced in, built with peace and privacy in mind. Off-street parking available behind a gate. All while being only a stone's throw from downtown. Walk to Downtown in 15 minutes, or a 2 minute drive/Lyft ride.
The space
This beautiful ranch one level home is just a stone's throw away from Downtown Raleigh. Greeting you is an enlarged front porch with ceiling fans & LED lights. Upon entering, you'll find a spacious open floor plan. The kitchen has Quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. The living room is stylish and has a cozy electric fireplace. The property also has a tankless water heater, a laundry/mudroom, dedicated workspace & a walk-in pantry. The primary suite features a tray ceiling, dual custom closets, a luxurious bathroom that showcases exposed brick, & a huge custom walk-in shower with dual shower heads. The enclosed back sunroom is used as an additional living space as well as the 4th bedroom and contains a projector for movie nights and its own HVAC unit. The property also has a large peaceful backyard and parking behind a gate.
Other things to note
I ask guests to only use the bedrooms and bathrooms needed to keep my cleaning costs down. The rate in VRBO is based on your guest count. For parties of 1 or 2 I would ask you only use 1 or 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and leave the other bedrooms/bathroom untouched with doors closed. Of course you can enjoy the living room/dining area and kitchen but I ask you to keep your footprint to a minimum.
Nightly rate is based on guest count, so if you need to increase your number after booking, the rate may increase and this price difference must be paid.
Please understand that the number of guests you booked for is the number allowed to be in the unit, including visitors who don't spend the night. As an exception, I allow one or two short-term visitors over the guest count. But if you would like to have anymore than two visitors be on property at any point, you would need to ask me first and increase your guest count. For example, if you book for 3 guests and would like to have 3 additional visitors during your stay, you would need to increase your guest count to 4 (as 2 visitors over guest count is allowed). Having additional unauthorized guests voids the rental agreement and may result in being asked to leave without a refund.
Pets are allowed with a $50 fee per each pet for stays of 4 nights or fewer (pet fee will be greater for stays over 4 nights so please ask before booking if you'd like to check the longer stay pet fee amount). You MUST let me know about any pets in your welcome VRBO message. *Pet fee is to be paid after booking. Pet fee is NOT included in the booking price that VRBO collects, whether or not you mark pets in the reservation.* I ask you to NOT let pets on any furniture or beds and to pick up any waste in the yard.

There is central heat and air conditioning for all of the house except for the sunroom (which is the back bedroom/living room/movie room, next to the Master Bedroom). The sunroom is not connected to the central AC for the house, but it has a portable HVAC unit in it that can heat or cool the room (as well as dehumidify) to bring the room to the desire temperature.
I want guests to be able to check-in as early as possible. Due to the large amount of linens to be laundered between guests and the short amount of time do it, the washer/dryer will often have linens in them so that another load can run after cleaner leaves. You are welcome to use the washer/dryer, but will sometimes have to take out a load in order to do so. If you specifically know you will use the washer/dryer during your stay and don't want to have to do this, please let me know prior to check-in and I'll tell my cleaner to leave them empty for you.
There are some excellent local restaurants in the area. These are a couple of our favorites which you may enjoy: ● Garland ● Stanbury ● Transfer Co. Food Hall - closest restaurants to the home Offline is a great resource for events, restaurants etc. The nearest grocery store is Publix - or an even closer mart: DGX - 149 E Davie St, Raleigh, NC 27601
There is on-street parking available. Our neighbor across the street has requested that we do not park behind her driveway – she will not hesitate to let you know that! She is very friendly, though!

Garbage and Recycling are picked up from the curb in front of the house on Friday mornings. The bins are along the South side of the house. Please be sure to place all garbage into plastic bags and the trash cans, so that rats and other pests can’t get in. Recycling – Every other Friday. Starting on February 6 Garbage – Every Friday
