I had a lot of fun here. 18 min from GalaxyCon in Raleigh convention centerl, easy drive. Great places nearby to eat. Staff was awesome! Breakfast was fun to do (WAFFLES!!!!!), room were clean and the area was quiet. Two thumbs up!

Pros: Really nice staff. Kind, Courteous and Professional. Room service was great.Plenty of parking and nicely located near plenty of places to eat. Breakfast was good too. Not your typical continental breakfast. Cons: My key had to be reprogrammed almost every time I left my room. Come to find out later, only 1 key would work at time so I had to share it between myself, my wife and my son. There is only 1 ice machine, located on the lower level of the building at the far end of the hall by the non-working pool, in a not-so-lit area. Felt like I was walking through a dungeon. The hotel is a bit dated now, but was informed by the receptionist there are already plans in place to renovate the property in the coming months.

This hotel was tired. The pool was shut down for maintenance, which was disappointing, as well as no TV for a number of hours. The front desk staff was very helpful when I needed to get an extra bed for my son. The furniture in the breakfast room was very worn and needs to be replaced. The room was comfortable.

Kayla was so sweet and amazing. Even though we're NC natives, we now live out of state and were down for my mom's funeral. She's made a stressful time smooth by being so helpful. Breakfast was good as well. As for the property, it desperately needs to be updated. The carpets are filthy. The pullout sofa mattress was stained to the point my kids were wanting to sleep on the floor instead. The toilet barely flushed and lastly, the ELEVATOR! Idk who approved the elevator in this hotel, but we know Cherie Berry is no longer working on that. My family got stuck in the elevator trying to go to our floors. We pressed the help alarm and nothing! Luckily the thing finally opened up. Wouldn't book here again. It's motel quality with hotel prices.
