This was a lovely home that accommodated our large family. We enjoyed the deck and back yard by the pond! Bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of room for all. Hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We look forward to staying here again in the future!
This was our second time staying at the property while we visited family in the area. My kids enjoyed the large backyard and various toys. We definitely enjoyed our stay.
Great location between Duke, UNC and NC State. Plenty of options for shopping and dining in the area as well. The house had everything we needed and was in a beautiful spot with lakefront access.
Our family stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from NCSU. Although it was out of Raleigh a bit, it was very close to the interstate and close to great dining and shopping while still feeling like you were on n a rural area. The lake was so relaxing! The house is on the older side, but there is plenty of space and the kitchen was a nice size. The back deck is large and shaded. Overall a nice property for family.
House was lovely & spacious. Host was gracious. House next door was rented by my sister. Plenty of room for family to gather

Peaceful Durham home
We loved the location of the home. The backyard was wonderful and it was such a peaceful place to relax. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Sue was awesome to communicate with!
Very organized and well stocked! Gorgeous property on a lake. Everything is organized and labeled. Dishes and materials are so well stocked! Toiletries provided. Kind property owners. Great communication.
We loved the setting of the property! There was lots of outdoor space that was much enjoyed and well furnished. The kitchen was also well supplied. There were seven of us staying and we had plenty of room to spread out.
Our youngest son was getting married, and although most of the out of town guests were staying in a hotel, we wanted a place that could accommodate ourselves, my parents and our other son, daughter in law and grandson, and possibly our 19 YO granddaughter and her BF. This location served our needs very nicely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was centrally located and was clean and comfortable.
15 easy minutes from UNC Chapel Hill and from downtown Durham. Clean, comfortable, well stocked and in a beautiful setting. Everything worked as it should. Lots of food and shopping options 5-10 min away. Helpful and responsive host.
I stayed here with six long term friends for a Duke reunion. We loved the beautiful setting - very peaceful. There was room for all of us to sleep and all of our cars. We cooked dinner there one night - the kitchen is well stocked. We watched basketball games and spent lots of time out on the deck. The layout is a bit quirky, but it worked for us. Sue was a great, flexible host and communicated so well. We even talked about coming back to this house in five years for our next reunion!
We had a wonderful stay for a small reunion of friends. The house is just as described, two comfortable sitting areas and a large deck and yard with seating too. Everything you would need in the kitchen and entire home was clean. Extra touches were appreciated - charging blocks by every bed and in the main areas too. Communication was easy and hosts were responsive. The house is on a peaceful street but close to everything - shops and restaurants. Easy drive to Durham.
The property is gorgeous with a pond stocked with fish. Our boys enjoyed catching and releasing small bass and sunnies. The home is immaculate, beautiful, and stocked with every imaginable thing you would need to make your stay enjoyable and worry-free. The rooms are spacious and allowed our group of 10 to spread out and do whatever we wanted to do. I highly recommend a stay at this property. You'll really enjoy it's many "perks".
We stayed in August for 5 nights while visiting family. The house was clean and very spacious and included many amenities such as; toiletries, kitchen supplies, games, cleaning supplies, and other small things. We cooked out and enjoyed the grill, deck and overall yard. The property is in a good location, 20 minutes to downtown Cary and Durham. Five minutes from South Point mall and minutes away from Harris Teeters market, ABC liquor store and Total wine. Definitely would stay here again .

Perfect place for a family wedding weekend!!
We were able to rent this property and the adjacent home offered by the same host for both the bride's family and groom's family. Each home was so well-appointed and comfortable - plenty of dishes, silverware, towels, large refrigerator, many small appliances - everything we needed. The property is lovely with the early spring gardens and pond - excellent for pre-wedding photos! We were fortunate to have beautiful weather and were able to enjoy the outside spaces as well when friends and family stopped by to visit with us during the wedding weekend. Highest recommendation and the hosts were responsive and eager to work with us.
Large Home with Lots of Gathering Spaces on Wooded Lot
Our large multi-generational family celebrated the Christmas and New Year’s holidays at this large, comfortable house. The kitchen was spacious and very well stocked, with labeled drawers and cabinets facilitating our many cooks and assistants. The front living room - with a light and simply decorated Christmas tree - and back den provided multiple gathering places. The multi-level deck outdoors had two tables with seating for at least fifteen. The hosts were very responsive by test and phone. An all around wonderful experience.
This was an outstanding property, especially for the very reasonable price. The house was large and well equipped and the setting was lovely. Our group was small, but it would be a great house for a larger family reunion.
