Nestled in the heart of Durham, our modern home offers a true "home away from home" experience. As you step inside, you'll immediately feel a sense of warmth and comfort, making your stay whether short or long-term, feel like you've never left your own abode.

Duke University is only 1.5 miles west, with Duke Hospital just 3.7 miles away. A mile east, find DPAC and Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The American Tobacco Campus is 0.7 miles south, while Foster St Farmers Market is a 1.2-mile walk north.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home including the very large backyard as well as private off street parking; which can hold up to 4 vehicles.

Other things to note
Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Superhog. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Superhog will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process. You will also be given the choice between a security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver. Guest verification process must be completed within 48 hours of booking to confirm the reservation or reservation may be subject to cancellation.

Housekeeping is required monthly for stays greater than 30 days.

Agreement to House Rules:
Booking a reservation constitutes agreement to comply with these House Rules. Violations will result in liability for any associated damages, fees, costs, or expenses.

Consumables:
We include a reasonable starter amount of toilet paper, paper towels, and other consumables like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish detergent and laundry detergent. Beyond the starter package, our guests are expected to manage their own refills.

Pet Policy:
We welcome pets (maximum of 2) with a $150 per pet, per stay fee. Pet fee for 28 day stays or longer is a non-refundable deposit $250 per pet, per stay. Service animals are exempt, but please inform us in advance. To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, as well as the well-being of your furry companions, we kindly ask that you keep your service or emotional support dog with you at all times during your stay. Pick up after your dog in the backyard. Bags are provided. Excess pet hair on our linens or furniture will incur a $50 fee.

Visitor Policy:
For insurance purposes, we request that overnight stays are limited to registered guests only.

Non-Smoking Policy:
Our home is maintained as a smoke-free environment for the comfort and health of all guests. Smoking, vaping, marijuana, and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited, including on porches and in shared spaces. A $300 fine applies for violations.

Internet Service:
Wireless internet is provided as a courtesy. Service can sometimes be erratic. We are not responsible for internet issues or provide technical support, and no refunds are issued for internet service problems. Modem and Router are not to be tampered with by guests during the entire duration of their stay.

Tech-Savvy Home:
To ensure a safe and secure environment for all, we have exterior cameras monitoring the porch, parking area, and front door. These devices help us maintain the property's security and assist guests if needed. We kindly ask that you leave the cameras undisturbed during your stay. Rest assured, we respect your privacy and only review footage when necessary. Your cooperation helps us provide a worry-free experience for everyone.

Quiet Hours:
Please respect quiet hours between 10 PM and 7 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for our neighbors.

Event Restrictions:
While we understand the joy of celebrations, our home is not suitable for parties or large events.

Guest Responsibility:
The person who books is responsible for all happenings during their stay; including damages, loss, or injury while on premises. Any property damage, loss, or injury must be reported to the host immediately. Unreported damages or loss will be deducted from the security deposit or reported to the booking platform.

If you encounter any issues or concerns during your stay, please notify us immediately. We're here to help and resolve any problems. However, failure to inform us prior to check-out will result in no refunds or additional accommodations being issued.

Flexible Check-Ins/Outs:
We try to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs without extra charges. Late check-outs without prior arrangement will incur $100/hr fee with a maximum of 2 hours. Anything over 2 hours will result in the guest being charged another full day at the current daily rate.
