"Great little spot! The hot tub jets weren’t working and clearly hadn’t been for a while, and the beds could be updated, but overall so nice and clean! Staff is excellent - so friendly and helpful."
"Overall great property. It is a bit older and need to be upgraded in certain rooms. I complained about being kept up all night from neighbors above me and no one addressed my inconvenience or concerns. I received only a text message empathizing with me but nothing occurred. "
San Diego Oasis w/ Pool, Hot Tub, Game Room - Your Own Private Resort!
10/10 Excellent
"Our family of 4 stayed here for a week and a half while visiting family nearby, and we’re already looking forward to staying here again next year. My kids loved having their own bedrooms, each with an adjoining private bathroom. Two of the three bedrooms had their own access to the pool area. The master bedroom gave us the privacy and quiet space we needed from the kids and had its own private access to the pool area. The ensuite bathroom was lovely and spacious. The two large separate common areas, each with a large couch and TV, allowed the family to either spend time together playing video games or to have their own space to read. The gaming room had a pool table with an optional mountable ping pong table: lot of fun!The kitchen was perfect for us. It has all the necessaries to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner. For a family, having a dishwasher and access to a full laundry room was great. This was important when you’re there for a week and a half. The outdoor pool was fantastic, but we spent most of our time in the outdoor hot tub. We contacted the owners to set the time in the evenings and sat there relaxing every night. It was quiet and you couldn’t hear the road noise or the neighbors. Its proximity to Pomerado Road made its location convenient. Food shopping for the family, or going out to a restaurant or caffe, or access to the highway was just a few minutes away in any direction. Both downtown San Diego and the airport was only a 30-minute drive from the house."
Luxury Home with Heated Pool - Spa and Lighted Pickle Ball Court
10/10 Excellent
"Owners must be proud of their property and keep it in wonderful shape. They had anything you might need to cook or have fun or stay the night. Even board games if you had to stay inside. Spacious areas and very family friendly. The outdoor areas were really a lot of fun--pool, spa, playhouse, pickle ball court, outdoor eating and lounging areas. Great time. I would highly recommend this property."
"Very comfortable home, beds, and neighborhood. It’s a great area for walking and the back patio is lovely. The drive to our destinations in San Diego took about 30 minutes. Thank you for a great stay! Some minor inconveniences with maintenance issues but the property manager promptly took care of issues. "
Tranquil Private North San Diego Cottage/Guest 1 House
8/10 Good
"Overall, our stay was a good one, but there were some minor issues... The WiFi was very weak and inconsistent. The Roku and our Firestick kept freezing, and we couldn't get online sometimes. We finally moved the wireless repeater up high in the main room and it got better, but still was weak and cut out occasionally. Lots of of "unnecessary stuff" around in the kitchen and curio cabinets. We had ants marching through one of the bedrooms, but took care of them with the provided spray. Water pressure at the bathroom sink was only a trickle. Whoever was staying in the main house had a dog that roamed to property. He was very friendly (and we are "dog people," so that was OK), but could have been a serious problem if you have issues with dogs. The online info was also incorrect. VRBO said to park on the street and put trash outside the cabin. Host said to put trash in cans at the street, and when we arrived, there was a car back in the space where we were told to park (we would have blocked it in). After messaging the host, we were told it was OK to block the car. The toilet ran and we had to "jiggle" it constantly. When we messaged the host, we were told that they work fix it AFTER we left, as they didn't want to disturb our "privacy." Given that we were never in the cabin during the day, we couldn't understand why this was an issue. Anyway... Again, all these were minor, and we found the accommodations to be fine for our needs... It's just that the little stuff bugged us some."
