"I enjoyed my weekend stay here. It was in a very convenient location right off the freeway, only a few minutes from Old Town and a short drive into Balboa Park and more of the downtown area. The room was clean and plenty spacious for a solo traveler, housekeeping was excellent in resetting the room every day while I was out. The restaurant attached was also very good, and self-parking was $15 per night, which is on the cheaper side of what other places are charging. Will strongly consider for my next trip to San Diego!"

"We Had stayed here for a wedding near the hotel we. Stayed for two days and the rooms we had were in excellent condition except for one room. we had the bathroom ceiling that had a leak but the staff upgraded us to an amazing luxury suite with all amenities, jacuzzi tube full kitchen two fire places and very large shower we would definitely stay here again the property has about 4.5 acres, and they have multiple pools and golf course throughout the property the check-in process was a little lengthly though and there’s not too many restaurants nearby the property or stores, unless you travel 20 min away but the hotel has a restaurant with a decent breakfast lunch menu and anything you may need for the pools is on site as well its great for family’s with kids over all. 4-5 Stars"

"Pay attention to your booking. They tried to give us a basic room at check after we paid $300 more to upgrade to a premium room. Also check your bill at check out. The property was okay. Staff could have been a bit more friendly. Food options were limited on the property. IMO it wasn’t worth the money we spent. "

"The location was beautiful, with sweeping views of the water and lots of wildlife, everything from birds to turtles to all kinds of fish. The resort itself was okay, but starting to look weathered/old and parts felt downright dirty, such as the waterfall pool. The name sounds idyllic, but the pool deck was covered in bird poop, with more in the water and seagulls actively bathing there. It did not feel sanitary. The restaurants were overpriced for the quality and service was very slow (even for a laid back environment). The staff at reception was friendly during check in/check out, but everyone else we interacted with (ie, at restaurants) was pretty meh. Can’t say I would return, given the price."

"The pictures make the property and rooms look much nicer than reality. The bed and pillows were terrible. The ac was missing the grill to aim the air. The elevator was down so we got to carry everything up the stairs. Paying 20.00 a night to park when you are paying so much for a room is crazy . I would suggest looking elsewhere"

"The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Loved the location of the hotel. It was a 5 minute walking distance to little italy and a 5 min drive to the zoo. The room was very quiet at night. Really appreciate the brochure of events they gave us when we checked in. Will definitely stay again!"
