"The location is unique and right on the water. The home is impressive with large common areas, paddle boards and kayaks to use. Yes, Edwin, the caretaker, is great but you are dependent on him to take you into town if you need anything. Communication was fine but you have to have WhatsApp to message Edwin. It needs to be pointed out that this house has NO AIR CONDITIONING. You count on fans and sea breezes for cooling, which, when it's 90 degrees out, is not great. The other thing I think should be mentioned is that there are no supplies provided in the kitchen. There are pots and pans and all appliances but nothing else, not even salt or pepper. I know there was no indication that anything was going to be supplied but we would have shopped a little more thoroughly if we knew there was absolutely nothing. While towels are provided, there is neither soap nor shampoo available for the showers or sinks. Dish soap was provided. I'm only trying to make people aware so they aren't surprised like we were in certain respects. Belize is lovely and we would definitely come back in the future."
