Two bedroom cottage has a queen bed in each bedroom and a futon sleeper in the living room. Tastefully furnished in lodge log decor with a free standing gas fireplace stove in the living room. Full bathroom with shower only. Through the wall air conditioning, cable TV, and wifi for your comfort and relaxation. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided. The full size kitchen comes with a stove/range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is equipped for basic cooking and eating. Outside on the patio is a gas grill, picnic table, and patio chairs for your evening bar-b-q. The cottages set in a park like setting with mature trees, and lots of lush lawn. Just a short walk to the paved bike path or to the lake for some recreation.

Located by beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City just thirty minutes from Mt Rushmore. Easy access to all Black Hills area attractions. Most attractions including Mt Rushmore are 30 minutes or less.

Bring your bikes, walking shoes, or roller blades and enjoy the great paved bike trail that goes for miles along Rapid Creek. Trout fishing in both the Creek and the lake. Paddle boats are available for rent to mingle with the ducks and geese on the lake. Playgrounds for the kids and best of all, mosquitoes are not a problem. Bike rentals to enjoy the miles of paved bike paths around the lake and along the creek.

The cabin was cozy and comfortable. We even had a deer who seemed to live in our yard - saw her every evening when we came home! The patio/carport was perfect to BBQ and we loved eating out on the picnic table.

It was a nice place to stay. Just minutes to downtown, but no traffic noise. The weather was good during our stay so we ate meals outside on the picnic table. Most neighbors did as well.

Great place to unwind in a great location

We spent much of our time running around the national and state parks in 100 degree heat so it was great to have someplace close by to cool off, rest up, and get back at it!! Very clean and quiet too!!!

This was our first trip to the Black Hills so we weren’t entirely certain where to stay. We were lucky to find this great cabin. It was incredibly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. On site staff was friendly and helpful. Access to the local sites as well as downtown was excellent. It’s a block from a trail around a pretty lake. Now that we know the area better we will definitely stay here again!

Great location! Clean, plenty of towels. Only complaint is kitchen could have been stocked with better/more pans and utensils. We would stay again my son loved that the playground was so close.

Wonderful Cabins and Great Staff

This was a perfect place to stay. A nice playground for the grandson. Ducks in the back yard. The staff are very responsive and helpful. Next time we’re in Rapid City we’ll stay here again.

Amazing little cabin

I stayed here three nights as a base camp to visit the Black Hills area and it was amazing. The whole Canyon Lake area is phenomenal and i plan to come back to the Black Hills in the next year or two and will be staying at this location again.
