    Welcome to Big Mountain Cabin #2! Enjoy a new custom built experience. This cabin offers an open floor plan with high vaulted ceiling and a custom beam design. Cabin #2 is centrally located in the Black Hills just a few miles south of Rockerville. Many attractions are just a short drive away.

    Cabin #2 offers a kitchen stocked with dinner ware, pot and pan, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, and outdoor grill. Relax in a bed room that has a custom built queen log bed with a memory foam mattress. It has a fully furnished bathroom that provides a full tub and shower. All linens and towels are provided.

    For all you hiking enthusiasts, this cabin is close to many national forest trails including Boulder Hill Mountain Trail. This trail head is 2.2 miles from Cabin #1. And for all you mountain bike enthusiasts, this cabin is 2 miles from Storm Mountain Trail. Storm Mountain trail offers 11.61 miles of pure fun!

    - Our cabins are on a hillside and there is only enough parking for one vehicle. If you have a extra vehicle, trailer, or motorcycle please message us before you make your reservation.
    - If you are riding on a motorcycle, we ask that you be an experienced rider. The road to this cabin has loose gravel. If you have any questions please message us.

Clean, small cabin for two

Perfect place for 2

Great location to all sites, very clean and just perfect. Quiet location with everything we needed. We made breakfast each morning before going out sightseeing for the day. Most comfortable bed ever!! Highly recommend!!

Relaxing get away

This was our 2nd stay in this cabin. It was clean, well stocked and quiet. We did some hiking in the area, lots of sight seeing, we went to the local winery and most importantly we relaxed! This cabin will always be our choice when heading to the Black hills area.

Our stay was amazing! We had everything we needed and the owners were fantastic. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. We stayed for a week on our anniversary. The cabins are located in a perfect area for exploring the black hills. If you are considering, do not hesitate.

From checking in (zero hassles) to cleanliness, amenities, location and communication, this was a phenomenal place to stay! My wife and I met owner on a walk, so so much fun to chat with. Completely loved this cabin and the area. Stayed for five days and were able to visit all the sites we planned with ease. (Our host recommended Sylvan Lake for a hike - so awesome!) This cozy cabin was the perfect place to return to in the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed, the shower was great and the mattress and pillows were the best - we slept so well! Loved the minimalist decor - tasteful, comfortable and exquisitely clean. Highly recommend Big Mountain Cabins♥️

Quiet location

Clean cabin and quiet location. The biggest negative was that the lights inside the cabin were all connected and very bright. It made for difficulty while sitting on the couch and the other person was in bed.

The cabin was perfect for us! We were 2 adults hiking the Black Hills and biking along the Mickelson trail. Quiet and easy to find, this place was in the middle of everything. Our communication with Jennifer was great and we never needed help with anything. The cabin looked brand new, and the king bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

The stay was excellent. The only improvement in my opinion might be to have some kind of window shades in the high up windows so the sun isn’t beating down in your eyes in bed every morning bright and early. Other than that I would definitely stay there again!
