We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was well stocked and so clean. Lana was a wonderful host and responded quickly with any questions we had leading up to our trip. This house had everything we needed and more! We had 7 adults stay and there was plenty of room and a great outdoor patio. We will definitely stay here again!
Just finished up a wonderful weekend with 10 women (not all stayed overnight). This house was perfect for us to gather and connect. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfy, house is spacious and beautiful! Lana was helpful and gracious. I look forward to another stay.
This was such an inviting, elegant, clean & organized home. It was obvious that every detail was well thought out. There were 7 adults in our stay. This home provided enough space for us to gather together at times and also enough cozy areas to have our alone time. All the beds were incredibly comfortable. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this home.
This house is beautifully decorated and very clean. It has everything you need and then some. It’s well located to all the things you’d want to do in Rapid City and so convenient to day trips into the Black Hills. The neighborhood is very walkable with plenty of sidewalks and well kept houses and gardens.
Our host was friendly, caring, and quick with communications. I’ve had a lot of VRBO experiences in the past, and this one is tops.
Do yourself a favor and walk to Black Hills Bagel for breakfast.
We always rent a house when we come to Sturgis for the rally and this is the cutest house we’ve stayed in! It was everything advertised and more! You know the saying, happy wife, happy Sturgis trip! My wife loved it as did the others in our group! Plenty of room for six adults, I can’t think of a negative thing about it! I would definitely stay here again if available. Communications were easy, check in a snap, everything was perfect! The only thing that would have been better was if I owned it!
If you are visiting Rapid this house is just wonderful. The space and decor are gorgeous. Location is unbeatable. My family is in Rapid so I've been visiting for 45 years and this area has always been my favorite since I was a kid because of the stunning architecture of this historic area. Quiet and safe but still walking distance to all the action in downtown. The house is spotless and fully stocked with everything you need including lots of nice little touches that make you feel very cozy and well provided for. Easy and helpful communication with the host. Can't wait to come back with my family in the summer and enjoy the yard. I visited in the freezing winter and the house was very warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Having a garage to park in was also a huge plus! Easy access out of town to the Black Hills/Mt Rushmore for all your tourist fun.
A perfect house in the historic district of Rapid City
Our family of four stayed for 5 nights in this perfect house. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures. Even better. What you could not really see on the platform’s pictures were the big lovely garden and the patio which was behind the house. I took my early morning cofffee in the garden which I really liked and our family also spent an afternoon sitting there. The neighbourhood is lovely and neat. My husband went jogging every morning.
The house is perfectly located for everything you want to go as a tourist. The communication with Lana was easy and she immediately got back to us the two times we had questions. We will certainly come back the next time we are in Rapid City.
We stayed for a small family reunion of 10 people. It was so warm and welcoming and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. The toddlers enjoyed the playscape, toys and books. The interior design was perfect!
The Fairview property exceeded all our expectations. It had everything we needed for our 5 day stay while seeing the beauty SD has to offer. The home is well decorated and so comfortable. Thanks for helping us make memories!
Truly a gem! An amazing high end home in a great neighborhood and centrally located to everything in the area. The house was very clean and comfortable. The host is easy to contact and provided everything we needed for a great stay! We will definitely be back!
Great location, easy to get to Mt Rushmore and several other sites. Dining table was great for family game time. If you are a short person might have difficulty reaching built in microwave, I had tall people in the group so was not a problem. House has been beautifully decorated. My favorite spot was sitting in hanging chair on enclosed front porch drinking coffee in the morning. Would stay again
We loved the house, very cozy and had all the amenities we needed for our group of 6. It had plenty of space. The youngsters enjoyed the video games and the family room for movies. It’s so close to restaurants and easy access to the Freeway and airport. We visited all the touristy stuff at Mt Rushmore, Badlands and Deadwood. The only 2 things we weren’t aware of but wasn’t a true problem after we got used to it. There is only 1 full bathroom upstairs for 3 bedrooms. The 2nd full bathroom was in the basement level. Also, the garage is not attached to house so had to walk around the front to get in house with the code. Otherwise, there was no other issues. We had a perfectly lovely stay. I would come back again.
VRBO really messed up with this house. They won’t allow people to give a 6 or 7 star review on a 1-5 point scale. We’ve stayed at many rental properties over the years and this one is at the top of our list. Pretty, quiet neighborhood, lovely enough for us to skip our daily trip to the gym and instead take an evening stroll among the vintage homes.
House itself was wonderful. Plenty of room to spread out, top-of-the-line sheets, towels, and kitchen appliances. The host out did herself. She was also easy to communicate with.
Rapid City is an easy town to get around, and this house was just a few minutes to the interstate, or to the main road leading to Mt Rushmore. Not sure if we will be back to the Rapid City area again, but if we do return, we’ll look specifically for this particular house and make our plans around the house availability. This is definitely a keeper.
We spent a week in this lovely home located in Rapid City's historic West Boulevard district. The space was perfect for relaxing, playing games, and preparing fantastic meals. Our host was responsive to all our questions and needs and has gone to great lengths to make this home inviting and well appointed. We can't wait to return!!
